20/07/2026: Excellent set menu with a choice of courses. Extremely attentive and helpful service guarantees a perfectly catered evening. Tip: parking space in the village is extremely limited – it is advisable to park on the outskirts and walk the last 100 meters.
18/07/2026: High-quality cuisine with creative flair and excellent dishes; however, the atmosphere is a bit noisy for a restaurant of this caliber. One unpleasant aspect: the choice of certain menus means that the entire table is forced to order the same menu, which is absolutely disagreeable (the same applies to L'Orée du Bois).

26/07/2026: We visited the restaurant and ordered two salads, two crêpes, a beer, and two coffees for our outdoor seating. The portions were decent, but they were tiny! At €22 and €25 for a salad, we expect more and better quality. The final crêpe didn't make up for the nearly €80 bill. The restaurant remains a pleasant and friendly place, but the value for money is no longer there.

15/08/2026: A wonderful, warm welcome with a smile, generous portions of delicious homemade dishes that were out of the ordinary yet simple. And the desserts! Simply perfect and surprising! Lunch on the terrace with a magnificent view of La Meije. Highly recommended!
13/08/2026: An incredible restaurant, using only fresh, deliciously prepared ingredients, and a warm welcome. The desserts are wonderful, all homemade, and very reasonably priced.
Thank you to the team, it was perfect.

24/05/2026: This is an establishment I frequented some twenty years ago, when it still operated under the "Relais du Silence" label, a chain that has since dissolved.
And during a seasonal stay in the region, I rediscovered it with all its former charm and picturesque character, which I particularly appreciate.
What I love and seek out are inns because they provide lodging and meals for travelers, and this hotel-restaurant has retained this valued principle along with its quality of service.

15/08/2026: Perfect place to stop for a meal or even an ice cream! Reservations are recommended!
09/08/2026: The café crème I ordered was disappointing. It clearly lacked the cream that characterizes this drink. It was just milk. The taste was bland.
However, the iced tea, if I remember correctly, was good, and the service was really excellent. That's why I'm giving it three stars.

20/04/2026: Another terrible experience! The price is exorbitant: €55 for 3 hours, especially since the main baths were closed due to a technical issue. First, the receptionist, who introduced herself as the manager, offered us a 20% discount, which the other receptionist refused to apply. The result? A deplorable customer experience stemming from extremely poor management! Avoid this place at all costs; we also learned that they don't even use thermal water.
20/04/2026: Terrible customer experience. The reception staff, including Coline, treated us with contempt. We do not recommend this spa.

29/03/2026: Unfortunately, they closed during opening hours and stopped serving hot food at 2:30 PM! :( We had a hard time getting cold food, so this year it wasn't a good experience.
23/03/2026: The atmosphere is nice and the chalet is actually very typical. The service is ok too. But the food is really not where it needs to be. Burger was tasteless and the patty had a greasy/old taste. I would not recommend.

A huge thank you again to the whole team for their warm welcome. Our stay in this beautiful place was far too short; the room was adorable and very comfortable. And in the evening, a view of the stars! The young woman who greeted us was very attentive to our needs and gave us recommendations for walks, slopes, and restaurants not to be missed!
A delicious breakfast that gave us the energy we needed to start our day of skiing!
A wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

08/09/2024: Après un séjour d'une semaine sur le Monêtier j'ai pu faire plusieurs restaurants du village, dans sa gamme, celui-ci vaut le détour, de la gastronomie à prix abordable, ambiance détendue, service en salle discret et efficace comme il se doit, chef passionné, je vous le conseille fortement si vous passez dans la région, pour 59 euros (menu 5 services) vous pourrez vivre une expérience culinaire que je pense rare à ce prix,

08/08/2024: Fondue savoyarde au bleu du Queyras, une tuerie.
Avec un vin blanc des hautes alpes, nous nous sommes régalés.
Le patron a bien veillé à ce que nous ne manquions pas de pain, et nous a offert le digestif à la fin.
Dommage que la terrasse soit très proche de la route nationale… un peu bruyant mais nous y retournerons si nous passons à Monetier
