29/06/2026: A light lunch, since I work nearby.
We had booked that morning, and the table was ready without any problem.
The welcome was a bit lukewarm; the hostess wasn't very friendly, but she was professional nonetheless.
The menu was quite good in terms of food, however, the drinks selection was a bit limited (no cocktails, a few basic beers, and no pints).
We waited a while to be served, so you shouldn't be in a hurry.
The portions weren't huge, but they weren't too small either.
However, the food was very good, the sauces were well-conceived, and the cooking was impeccable.
All this for a very reasonable price.

I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a restaurant with an oriental atmosphere.
We had a wonderful evening.
Plus, you can book the entire venue for a wedding or birthday party.
During our visit, there was a wedding upstairs, and downstairs, the dining area was open with an oriental ambiance. We loved it, and the food too. There's a shisha lounge and a restaurant area.

The Kir Royal was delicious with dill toast.
The menu was excellent with very good flavors at a reasonable price.
The dessert was just as good.
It's great to have this type of restaurant in Gennevilliers.
I highly recommend it.

20/08/2024: Dans l'ensemble la nourriture était bonne ,le service assez rapide ,par contre gros bémol sur le nombre de mouches présents dans la salle a manger ,pas très agréable pendant le repas ,et aussi pas mal de mou che dans les toilettes malheureusement,donc ce côté là a revoir sinon niveau nourriture rien a dire
16/06/2024: A FUIR ! Je viens de commencer un chantier à côté de ce restaurant avec mes 9 employés, et nous avons décidé d'essayer l'Hippopotame de Gennevilliers. Malheureusement, notre expérience a été très décevante.
Une serveuse nommée Isabelle, d'après son badge, nous a clairement négligés. Elle ne nous prêtait aucune attention et était très arrogante. Nous nous sommes sentis ignorés et mal accueillis.
En raison de ce traitement, nous avons décidé de changer de restaurant et de fréquenter Del Arte à la place. Chez eux, les valeurs humaines et le respect des clients sont mis en avant, ce qui est essentiel pour nous.
Nous aurions pu venir ici cinq fois par semaine, mais nous préférons désormais aller chez les concurrents qui savent comment traiter leurs clients avec fuir

06/08/2024: Accueil parfait, plat équilibré et délicieux, cadre très agréable et prix défiant toutes concurrence. Un endroit à recommander sans hésitation.
28/05/2024: L'initiative de permettre à des personnes handicapées de s'insérer professionnellement est formidable, le personnel est d'ailleurs accueillant, toutefois les plats ne sont pas terribles, mon saumon n'était pas cuit et ma collègue n'a quasi pas touché à son assiette. Une personne à la table à côté a demandé à refaire cuire son saumon.

27/10/2024: A éviter j'ai gaché 60€ / 2 personnes pour manger seulement la salade a volonté ya trop d'attente le serveur tourne avec un jegou plein de sang a chaque fois il dit j'arrive tt a l'heure avc le bien cuit... ya trop d'attente avc service nul il servent que des miettes
