28/08/2024: Excellent, une agréable découverte ! Du choix pour tous les budgets, chose rare. Par une soirée assez chaude et une étape de départ de vacances nous voulions faire simple même si la carte était très alléchante. Salade océane et pizza calzone. Un régal ! Salade délicieuse et très fraîche, pizza fine et goûteuse. Glace agréablement présentée. Addition 36 €. Accueil sympa, service rapide, nous recommandons !

24/08/2024: We have not found the restaurant of the month for April 2024! What happened?? We order 1 hour later we are informed that the dishes are no longer available. We must change. Then it's the desserts... and to top it off we pay and when we leave what a surprise 14 euros more on the involuntary or voluntary bill we have doubts.

22/08/2024: My son and I ate at this restaurant yesterday. My son who is vegetarian had the vegetarian salad and I had a menu, we were very satisfied, including the waitress who was very friendly which made up for a somewhat long service. Today we went back at 8:30 p.m., the restaurant was far from full. I ask for a steak and a drink. My son 2 waffles with jam and a 3 scoop ice cream with an apricot Pago. The waiter tells me that it is not possible to serve desserts without dishes. He justifies this by telling me that he cannot ask his cooks to make two waffles and 1 ice cream 3 scoops?? As the restaurant only offers one vegetarian dish (salad), I insist but nothing happens. So I canceled the order and we left. Yet we would have left 56 euros!? In short, good restaurant but the services are random. I add a lack of discernment on the part of the server. We went elsewhere and no problem... In short, a good restaurant but the service is random, too bad!!

17/08/2024: Personnes pas aimable du tout et ça ne s’arrange pas d’année en année malheureusement. On demande un couteau pour pouvoir couper un burger à nos filles de 4 ans mais ils n’ont pas de couteaux. Un resto sans couteau et ben dis donc ! Changez de métier si c’est pour être désagréable autant avec les estivants qu’avec les habitants de la grande motte.

30/08/2024: Si vous cherchez un restaurant à touristes, passez votre chemin. Les plats étaient succulents, très frais, très copieux, préparés avec beaucoup d’application. les desserts étaient à la hauteur des plats. Et mention spéciale pour les frites 😜

30/08/2024: Excellent dîner au Poisson bleu Un vrai bon restaurant bistronomique excellent et accessible Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les plats très bien réalisés avec des produits frais Nous avons partagé avec bonheur avec l’apéritif une salade de poulpe à la provençale qui nous a réconcilié avec le poulpe Le turbo très fin avec une excellente fondue poireaux champignons et un beurre blanc parfait Les ravioles et saint Jacques délicieux Les linguines tellines et gambas plein de saveurs Nous avons cédé aux desserts par pure gourmandise et c’était également très bon Un cadre très agréable en retrait du passage Une très bonne adresse à La Grande Motte

21/05/2024: Discovered last year, we are delighted with the choice of ice creams, in a cone or in a small bowl, great value for money, message to the flavor creators: make the lime/basil ice cream again, it was incredibly good!!! Very nice team!

13/09/2024: Let's start with the positive point of the stay: the location of this hotel, a stone's throw from the beach and restaurants. The reception staff are very friendly, nothing to say on that front. We had access to the SPA at no extra cost. On this side I am quite disappointed, the water of the marine course (indoor swimming pool, jaccouzi, etc.) is cold. The sauna and the sensory shower were not working. In the end, only the hammam and the outdoor swimming pool remained (which I believe is warmer than the indoor swimming pool). Not to mention the friendliness of the spa staff which clearly leaves something to be desired. Last thing to deplore, there are only 2 showers for the entire spa, a queue of 1/2 hour, not counting the changing cabins of which there are 4 for women and men. Clearly disappointed, we will not come back, too bad the setting is splendid.

08/09/2024: Marine course 2 hours. The water in the pool was not very warm and that in the counter-current swimming area and the jacuzzi was very cold. I had to report that the hammam was not working and after 1/4 hour it worked again but not at full power. A clock is missing at the level of the pool to know how much time we have left on the course. The sauna with sea view is pleasant.

17/07/2024: Disastrous value for money! Pay more on the beach, why not. You have to take into account the charges on the sector but if the product is not great, it is no longer good.

23/06/2024: Finally we discovered a bakery making natural sourdough bread in La Grande Motte! Variety of breads and very good snacks. We particularly enjoyed the sweet fougasse!

03/09/2024: Great day out. End of holiday, lovely beds, good, sea and sun .. for €35 (including towel). A must!! Thank you Effet Mer, see you next year 🙏☀️☀️☀️

10/09/2024: Waiting over 30 minutes at our table before receiving our drink. Waitress very uninvolved and very unfriendly with us while despite the wait we did not show our dissatisfaction. Many dishes on the menu were not available. Good dishes but very dry (the cordon bleu which is served without sauce for example). When paying, not a word about whether it went well for us, it was very much "pay and go". I really don't recommend it, there are plenty of other good restaurants nearby.

08/09/2024: We are going to book, 1 server accepts us then a lady finally tells us no... turned away on a Sunday lunchtime a group of 9 people... it's incredible well done welcome.

18/09/2024: Excellent pastries and delicious breads, I recommend the 1900 baguette.

14/09/2024: I bought 4 pizzas and 2 quiches. I asked if they could put this in a box for me. The seller told me I don't have a box, the pizzas are in paper bags. On arrival the pizzas are stuck to the paper. Especially since last time they put the pizzas in a cardboard box. Not commercial at all. In short, I regret not having left him the goods.
