A small downside on the fries which deserved more cooking.
But the staff is really friendly.
17/09/2024: A good pancake in Cesson, look no further, there is Hublais.
The pancakes and crepes are delicious (a special mention for Hublais) and yet it is not easy to satisfy a Breton raised on Sarrasin, the service is very friendly in a warm, calm and cozy setting.

14/09/2024: It’s been at least almost 10 years since I’ve been back to eat at la petite flambée and frankly it was a great evening.
I had a roasted Camembert as a really delicious starter but unfortunately I found that there wasn't enough bread to accompany it but hey there's the basket next to it haha.
For the main course, I tried the really perfect Argoat andouillette, it had been a long time since I had eaten one this good with the fries on top which was exquisite.
I had an extra Roquefort sauce but I think it wasn't the best combination with the andouillette but for the fries it's always art.
For sure I will come back 😁

Really, if you want a restaurant, either as a couple, on an outing or something else, I recommend it.
No complaints.

18/07/2024: Nous fréquentons ce restaurant depuis plusieurs années et sommes toujours très satisfaits. Les plats sont toujours biens élaborés avec des produits frais. L’ambiance est chaleureuse et le cadre très agréable. Le personnel est souriant et prévenant. La patronne veille à ce que tout soit parfait et échange très sympathiquement avec les convives. Nous y reviendrons bien évidemment lors de notre prochain passage à Rennes

03/07/2024: Coming out of the bakery across the road I had a coffee here and I would like to say that this house is very nice and well managed. The owners have managed to maintain a very good traditional atmosphere. I recommend this address.

11/09/2024: 25th for a burger, I find it extremely expensive. The manager is unpleasant, when the waitress is great!, 8 minutes late and he comes to pick us up from the hotel complaining. I have never seen this before taking our order he warns us that if we take desserts we must make our choice straight away but we cannot know if we will be hungry after the main course. (which was very good). I hadn't finished my dish when he cleared our table. We were 3 large tables and the same company felt the same for everyone. 1st and last there, Having done a few years of restoration, I have never seen that!
01/08/2024: We often come for lunch at Hippolyte's table with my colleagues and it is clearly our favorite restaurant. The owner, in addition to being welcoming and professional, is very funny.
The cuisine is excellent, you never eat the same dish twice.

A warm and professional welcome in a pleasant setting.

27/08/2024: Chicken with maroilles not cooked, staff unpleasant and slow. I don't recommend going there at lunchtime at all if you are limited on time.
We also came there in the evening for a drink with colleagues and were disappointed with the service, the waiter didn't pay attention to what we asked, my drink didn't match.

12/08/2024: I hadn't had the opportunity to return to the church square for years. It was a pleasure to have a drink on the terrace, in good company.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the same waitress again, after more than 5 years. Proof of a business that works and respects its employees.
The square offers a terrace in a relaxing and sunny setting until the evening.
31/07/2024: I can't judge the cuisine because I came to have a drink on the terrace with my partner but it is very good, very welcoming and very cool.

19/08/2024: A few cakes for a birthday the next day, I came on purpose because they were very good cakes, however the box was too small to put them in, so the chocolate tart was broken by the cardboard tray of the éclair!...and 3 coffee choux pastries!... .announced vanilla by the saleswoman...and we all hate coffee!...and at first glance it's not very professional to be wrong about the flavors of the cakes...Too bad

13/09/2024: I came to eat this week in this restaurant and how can I tell you? I came away satisfied... Between the quality of the cuisine, the warm atmosphere and the special attention of the charming young man who served us (named Abel I think), I particularly enjoyed this meal, and this was the case for the 3 people with whom I shared this lunch. I will come back, be sure!
06/09/2024: We passed this lunchtime by the greatest chance dish of the day Cod fillet perfectly cooked with a nice assortment of vegetables Followed by a gourmet coffee and crème brûlée. All very well presented and plentiful
I recommend and deserve 5 stars Good welcome

I come home and there's no one there... I waited more than 5 minutes and then, a girl comes as if nothing had happened... She seemed stunned, the young girl, it seemed like that she had smoked a big firecracker.
