18/02/2024: Nous avons passé une soirée délicieuse au restaurant de montagne. L'atmosphère rustique et chaleureuse a créé une ambiance authentique. La cuisine de fondue et raclette était bonne, mettant en avant des produits de qualité. Le service était attentionné et l'équipe a contribué à rendre l'expérience mémorable. Une destination idéale pour les amateurs de montagne et de cuisine traditionnelle

Price more than correct given the average price of the resort, in short, go for it!

We had a blast. The restaurant is magnificent. Excellent time (despite a few little stupidities on our part 😉)

29/03/2024: We were delighted with this restaurant. The welcome and service are top notch and the food is very good. And it feels so good to find this on the slopes without being murdered on prices. So we returned with pleasure.

Ça fait 30 ans que nous venons à l'Alpe d'huez et que nous connaissons bon nombre de restaurants dont le Sporting qui vient de changer de proprietaire.
Quand on veut monter en gamme un des endroits emblématiques de l'Alpe il ne faut pas se cantonner à refaire la déco...
Si on veut déjeuner tardivement à l'extérieur (14 heures) c'est trop tard...cuisines fermées!
Si on veut prendre un verre à 18h30 à l'intérieur (en Février) c'est trop tard les tables sont posées et le bar inaccessible !
Un bar restaurant soit disant branché...pas très tolérants pas du tout commerçant .
Petit conseil révisez votre copie pour la prochaine saison car a trop vouloir offrir des horaires strictes sur les before ski les after ski les ceci les cela rien n'est souple et détendu comme devrait être un établissement pour des vacanciers en quête d'un bel endroit!

17/04/2024: Friendly setting and welcoming staff. But there is nothing on the plate when you think of a mountain restaurant and imagine generous proportions and not 200g of meat and 4 fries for this price, remember to eat before coming..

25/03/2024: I was told delicious pizza, no way to get someone on the phone to reserve and when I got there there was no room…. You have to organize yourself a little 🤷♂️
22/03/2024: Never been treated like that as a customer, the staff is malicious! Don't go there if you don't want to be yelled at. The staff is beyond rude and the chef yelled at us. In addition, the pizza is way too greasy and not very good.

02/04/2024: Outstanding food, you can taste the home made nature of the burger. Really tender, juicy and freshly cooked.
02/04/2024: The grilled bacon burger that I had was absolutely amazing! Food came within 10-15 minutes for 4 of us.
They don't have any drinks on tap, it's all bottled or canned but that didn't bother my family
The only real bad thing I can say about Baba's Burger is that it is cash only at the moment as of writing this.
All in all. 10/10 would recommend and definitely coming back!
