Impeccable cleanliness and excellent food.
We highly recommend it.
13/01/2026: Impeccable service, just like the meal. The fondue was divine, and our two children were also delighted to have such a wonderful culinary experience. Well done! A nice touch was the reservation system with the QR code at the entrance, followed by reminders on phone and email—a great idea!

01/02/2026: Beautiful setting, overlooking Lake Rousses. Friendly staff, the food is very good and plentiful 👍 It was my first time there, and I'd love to go back.
31/01/2026: We highly recommend it. A professional, friendly, and warm welcome. Despite an evening that was unfortunately too quiet for them (horrendous black ice, few customers). For my part, excellent cheese crust and Pavlova with mandarin compote. If you are in Les Rousses, don't hesitate to make the trip to Chalet du Lac.

The decor is wonderful, with a real chalet feel, and a special mention for the restrooms… magical! 😄 The service was warm and friendly.
We highly recommend it!

25/09/2024: Arriving on a Friday evening after a long drive, we were delighted with our visit to this restaurant. We were able to taste typical products of the region. Simple but very well executed dishes (grilled Morteau sausage, delicious cheese-stuffed potato, incredible red cabbage, fresh pasta with bleu de Gex). Warm welcome despite the fact that we did not book! The wood fired pizzas also looked excellent.
08/09/2024: Very pleasant place, well received by smiling staff. Excellent cuisine, the Francomptoise pizza, with a morel base, is as hearty as it is delicious.😛

29/06/2024: I looked to book at this establishment and I absolutely needed to know the availability of the charging station advertised.
I tried to contact them 5 times and left a message on their answering machine... Never got a response from them...
On the other hand, after publishing this review, the establishment took the trouble to respond, which in my opinion shows sincere consideration of customers.
I have modified my review accordingly and I will be delighted to test the quality of this establishment.
PS: the availability of a charging station for your customers is important for more and more people. Especially since the Region is very poorly equipped.
Please indicate the access conditions and the recharge rate.

Breakfast at 18th average we would have appreciated a 2nd coffee at that price
