Thank you for this very pleasant moment and for the ever-warm welcome.
20/08/2026: A restaurant in a magnificent house, tastefully decorated and in a very pleasant setting surrounded by nature.
The cuisine is always inventive and delicious; a feast for the eyes first, then for the palate.
The service is gentle and truly warm.
I highly recommend Le Mot de la Faim.

18/09/2026: We arrived as a group of 10, without a reservation, and we had a very good meal. Excellent cuisine with Jura specialties. Very welcoming staff. Highly recommended.
24/08/2026: Our dishes, white pudding, sausages were good except that the salad had lost its freshness and the so-called homemade blueberry cake certainly wasn't.

13/08/2026: Ribeye steak or regular steak. The choice is yours... The service was far too slow; we waited an hour and a half before the first course. There were probably some issues with the kitchen's pace, as the number of covers on August 13th wasn't huge... Plan to spend at least 2.5 hours at your table. The service was mediocre, with a waitress who seemed indifferent to the customers.
A bit pricey for what you get.
In short, disappointed.

08/06/2026: Hotel with a motorcycle garage.
The gentleman at reception took it upon himself to find us a restaurant in town and make a reservation. The breakfast was very good.
07/06/2026: The rooms are okay, the shower has a curtain instead of a door, so water splashes out the side, so bring a shower mat. The beds are okay, a bit worn. There's a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.
The hairdryer is built-in, the power is okay, but there's no cool setting.
What's really great is the light—VERY bright!!! The food seems to be good; we had lasagna, parts of which were practically burnt or impossible to cut.
The service is okay.

01/08/2026: Recommended for bikers (has a locked garage!).
This hotel is that appearances can be deceptive. From the outside and the reception area you don’t expect that the rooms are so modern, comfortable and clean. The same is true for the restaurant. The three course Menu regionale was tasty and exceptional value.
Breakfast again was a respectable size, good quality buffet for a more than reasonable price.
I can wholeheartedly recommend the place.

Clean room.
A minor drawback: the meals lacked variety in vegetarian options; two choices would be nice.

Everything is perfect, from Mama Crolait to her poor little Cosette.
24/09/2026: After desperately searching for someone to ask if we could eat, we were seated at a tiny table right by the road, squeezed between two flowerpots. The fries were good, the waiter friendly, but the homemade steak tartare... The meat wasn't fresh and the seasoning was insufficient. There were only four people eating, chatting with the "chef" who was smoking and only returned to the kitchen when a customer arrived... in short... avoid it. And 25 euros for that... it's very expensive when, just 30 meters away, there's a bar/brasserie offering steak tartare for 21 euros that looked excellent.

14/12/2024: Les avis des internautes nous ont amenées à pousser les portes de ce restaurant. Tout était là METS RAFFINÉS accueil CHALEUREUX les propriétaires sont enclins à la rencontre et au partage dans une ambiance cocooning
Un GRAND MERCI à eux pour ces belles qualités.
26/10/2024: Une très agréable surprise. Excellent restaurant à Saint Claude. Accueil très sympathique. Plats aussi bons que beau avec des produits de qualité. Parfait.
