24/08/2025: A great restaurant with a great atmosphere, a speaker playing reggae, a very friendly waiter and cook, and excellent, homemade food! It's a very good experience, especially since the wait isn't long!

27/09/2026: Forced smiles from the moment we arrived, a decent but unremarkable meal (the "Les Roseaux" menu) with overcooked, dry duck leg and equally dry fries. Thankfully, the setting is idyllic, but nature alone doesn't guarantee quality food. We felt like we were intruding: a group of 20 was about to be seated, and our service was rushed. Disappointed by the experience; we had been here 50 years ago, and the atmosphere was completely different. A bit pricey, too, considering the quality.
19/09/2026: We used to come to this restaurant 30 years ago. How can I put it? "It's the same, only better!" Well done to the whole family and team. Don't hesitate.

20/09/2026: A very pleasant lunch as usual. One of the few restaurants in the area to be consistent, with very enjoyable and surprising cuisine, and service that matches its quality. Thank you to the whole team.

10/10/2026: Be warned, the hotel reeks of cigarette smoke, both in the lobby and the rooms. There was also mold on the ceiling of our room.
The radiator wasn't working. We couldn't open the window because of the cold, and the smell became so unbearable that we were ultimately forced to spend an additional €117 to book another hotel late that night to spend the night.
We requested a refund, even a partial one, but it was refused on the pretext that my husband had already showered.
A very unpleasant experience, especially since the hotel offered no compensation whatsoever despite these unacceptable conditions.

24/09/2026: Disappointing. Main courses: sea bream and duck breast. The food was bland, lacking personality and flavor. The duck breast was very tough and the sea bream tasteless. The service was impersonal, somewhat rushed, and oddly enough, the bread basket brought to us came from a table still occupied by other customers. This was all the more surprising given that the waitress had petted a dog with her bare hands shortly before. I knew this restaurant about ten years ago, and it's nothing like it used to be. I live 100 meters away, and I won't be going back.
23/09/2026: This place is not inclusive for people with disabilities. They're happy to take your money, but as soon as the evening starts, according to them, your only place is outside (regardless of the temperature) in front of the closed bay window. I observed the people having fun inside... discrimination is punishable by law, beyond the human aspect.

Beaucoup trop cher comme beaucoup sur la côte

16/08/2024: Venue enceinte, j’ai demandé à l’avance où je pourrais m’asseoir pour ne pas gêner et être sure d’être assise au moment de l’affluence du déjeuner - les tables non réservables étaient finalement réservées (et auxquelles on m’avait pourtant bien dit que je pourrai m’asseoir) et on s’est donc fait virer comme des mal propres. Ce n’est pas le Hossegor qu’on aime.
