24/08/2026: A fantastic place to eat in Ancenis! I personally recommend the choucroute de la mer after a good day of cycling; it's truly the perfect spot. The staff are excellent, a must-try!

17/06/2026: What a great place! We stayed here as a group of six on a cycling trip and it was absolutely perfect for us.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable, with a wonderfully contrasting old restaurant full of character. The owner was so welcoming, and the breakfast was beautifully laid out with such high-quality food that it was impossible not to overeat!
A lovely hotel, full of charm and warmth. We will definitely stay here again next time ... and we did!
16/06/2026: We used La Toile à Beurre as our caterer for our wedding. The team handled the cocktail hour, dinner, and brunch with great professionalism. The manager, Florence, was always quick to respond to our messages and was very calm and flexible on the day. The food was fantastic; a special mention goes to the crêpe/savory crepe station, which was a huge hit with our guests! A big thank you for everything!!

22/08/2026: The waiter was unfriendly, and one dish was left unattended at a table of five. He didn't even apologize for the forgotten dish and refused to acknowledge the complaint. We received our food 15 minutes after everyone else. The galette was subpar, underfilled, and stuck to the plate. I do not recommend this restaurant, especially since the service was beyond mediocre!

01/03/2026: A must-try in Ancenis. The chef knows how to work with fresh ingredients. Everything is truly excellent. The service is friendly and efficient.
It's a shame this restaurant is a bit hidden in the center of Ancenis, but it's well worth the effort to find.
The only minor point for improvement is the decor; the atmosphere is a little cold.

30/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!! They serve you a coffee, and then take it away after 5 minutes. "You'll have to free up the seat," "Go inside." The people at the next table are stunned. They're treated the same way. The woman is unfriendly!! "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." 😂👏

11/04/2026: We came with 10 aircraft from the South Vendée region for lunch together. Seventeen pilots, students, and instructors were around the table.
Excellent welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money: a starter, main course, and dessert for €20—that's impressive, and it was delicious. Well done!
The service was quick and efficient.
In short, a very good place to eat, and we'll gladly return.

07/09/2024: Auf unserer Urlaubstour sind wir hier vorbeigekommen und hatten ursprünglich nur einen Kaffee im Sinn. Spontan entschieden wir uns auch fürs Mittagsmenü (1 tägl. wechselndes Menü zur Auswahl, soweit ich das gesehen habe) und waren ganz positiv angetan.
Bei 3 Gängen für unter 15 Euro p.P. darf man freilich keine Höhenflüge erwarten, aber die Speisen waren weit über Kantinenniveau, was bestimmt auch der Grund war, warum man hier viele Einheimische in ihrer werktäglichen Mittagspause antrifft.
Hier stoppen wir das nächste Mal bestimmt wieder.
