25/03/2024: After seeing this beautiful establishment below the ring road we decide to go there for lunch, first surprise we are the only customers in the restaurant... We are well received by the owner who is friendly and warm, he welcomes us will confide that he works alone...the cooking is not bad but the price is absolutely exorbitant and I am still looking for what justifies such prices (I am in the profession)... 18€ entry, a plate of smoked salmon with a piece of packaged industrial butter, Swedish bread, also industrial... for the dish I follow the advice of the boss who insists and sells me his "rabbit saddle in red wine"... €30 per plate ...at this price I'm expecting an exceptional dish, and well no, an absolutely unprocessed saddle, not even boneless, much overcooked, placed on a bed of mash and topped with sauce... I To repeat, it wasn't bad, but this kind of dish must be included in a menu costing 20€ maximum... We'll leave it there... In short, a nice setting, the place is beautiful in this traditional building, but we don't have a view of the sea or mountains either, we are below the expressway... We get by for 120€ for two with 3 glasses of wine, 2 starters and 2 main courses, it was our first and last visit... I still give 2 stars for the sympathy of the boss, but for the rest the value for money is not It's not there at all, I almost had a taste of flight in my mouth...

01/03/2024: We are in Saint Etienne, not in Paris. These semi-gastronomic bohemian restaurants like this one annoy me more and more, and there are more and more of them in our city. It's expensive and not very filling. 17 euros for a miserable tentacle of octopus on a poor mash, that's excessive. Go there if you want to pay a lot and be hungry when you leave.

19/03/2024: I never thought I would give a bad review to an establishment where I worked, but I have no choice. I worked as a cook for several months in this restaurant, and damn… Mice, mouse droppings and filth are commonplace. I was a cook and I always wanted to have a good image of this experience despite the fact that the boss was far from being correct with me (stealing kitchen work, paying on the 20th of the month, pressure and overtime not working). paid...) I would never have posted this notice if the boss hadn't decided to make me look bad to the temp agency. I am attaching here a video of a mouse found 2 steps from the cold room. Believe me, this was not just an isolated act. The chef before me confirmed my words, the boss never really wanted to take care of it, except by plugging 2 or 3 holes. I also, unfortunately, had to remove the mold from a sauce to serve "what's not too rotten" and despite myself pushed by the latter. I invite people to avoid going there, and if the boss sees this message I invite her to sue me for defamation (which she obviously will not do because I have all the proof) and I will begin the process to the industrial tribunal for more than a month's pay never received.
