18/01/2026: I came for lunch with two people without a reservation.
We received a very warm welcome and were given a choice of seats. We chose the set menu. Excellent value for money. Impeccable service. Clean restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere and nice decor. I'll definitely come back on the weekend; it's best to book ahead as it fills up quickly.

15/02/2026: A wonderful Valentine's Day evening! The gourmet menu was refined and full of flavor, with beautifully presented dishes. A big thank you to Yaya, our server, for his smile, kindness, and attentiveness throughout the meal. My wife and I had a lovely time together!

Homemade...good, tasty, very well served, and the cooking is calm and with a smile from start to finish!! The price is more than reasonable considering the quality!

26/06/2025: Small restaurant offering family cuisine at reasonable prices. We were passing through this town and we didn't know of any restaurants in particular, for lunch. While chatting with a charming shopkeeper who was exhibiting Malagasy crafts inside the La Chaussée shopping center, she recommended we have lunch at Au P'tit Bar. Small, no-nonsense family cuisine, homemade, but delicious, with options either as a main course, on the slate, according to your desires or appetite, or a full menu (in 3 courses) with a starter of your choice, a main course of your choice, a dessert of your choice starting at €22. You can have lunch or dinner outside or in the cool air inside. That day, because of the heatwave, we had lunch in the cool air inside. This small restaurant is located not far from the SNCF train station. The menus change daily.

25/01/2026: We came to eat with our family on Sunday, January 18th, to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, and we had a wonderful time at your establishment. Everything was perfect: the meal, the service, the location. A big thank you to the staff who served us; they were incredibly kind and helpful. I therefore award you a well-deserved 5 stars, and we will most certainly return for another birthday or family meal.

25/09/2024: Pleasant service, average atmosphere with the proximity of other customers and good dishes but to be reviewed. Let me explain. Poached egg starter with “smoked bacon mousse”. It sells dreams but in fact a mousse is a whipped cream with a piece of dried smoked bacon on top, without much taste. It was good but not at all what I expected.
There were two of us, we got two meats. The sauces were good, the meat quality but too bad they were both overcooked. As for the rossini, it had the texture of a mollard after the first stab. Low-end foie gras that does not hold up when cooked. So we didn't have dessert.
The visual presentations are very successful, the tastes are there, but a big shame for the reasons cited.
We will surely come back, being long-time customers, but not for a long time.

20/05/2024: Ancien restaurant 1 étoile, géré en famille, La Gloire en a gardé les attributs principaux. Service impeccable, assiettes goûteuses et très bien présentées, espace entre tables conséquent permettant de se concentrer sur son assiette et pas la conversation de la table voisine….et le prix est très raisonnable car ils ont préféré ne pas rechercher leur étoile pour se concentrer sur leurs clients.
09/03/2024: Connaissant cette institution montargoise depuis de nombreuses années mais n'y étant pas allée depuis longtemps je voulais la faire découvrir à mon compagnon. Nous y avons passé un agréable moment pour un déjeuner gastronomique car la cuisine y est toujours aussi excellente que dans mes souvenirs. Le charriot des desserts est un tel ravissement que l'on ne peut y résister. De l'apéritif au café nous nous sommes régalés. De plus l'accueil et le service étaient impeccables à l'image du décor très raffiné de la salle. A refaire mais sans attendre des années cette fois-ci.

10/12/2023: Toujours excellent, bien accueillis avec le sourire et la cuisine de Rémi est toute faite maison, de qualité, fraîche et savoureuse.
Les connaisseurs reviennent avec plaisir.
N'hésitez pas à venir goûter la cuisine et même commander des plats à emporter et menus de réveillon.
