12/04/2024: Very warm welcome, smiling people, very nice presentation of the choice, pretty interior. We can even eat inside, a space is reserved for this. Very good Paris Brest, a soft choux pastry, a very good and creamy cream, a very good crispy cream. The only little point that I personally didn't like was the chocolate between the two layers (I don't like dark chocolate). 👍

14/02/2024: Total disappointment: both the service and the meal (which remained on our stomachs for the rest of the evening) We each took a menu for 66€ so it was very salty (like the sauce for our different dishes, no pun intended). Our table was set up against the serving table. We were lovers and it's complicated to talk when you're constantly interrupted by the installation of clean glasses, the putting down of dirty glasses, the basket of bread... The explanation of the wines was so quick that we didn't understand anything and didn't have the opportunity to ask more. The little service hiccups accumulated throughout the evening really impacted the atmosphere of our meal. The dishes were good (too salty anyway) but not worth the price. My dessert did not match the title. Even as a die-hard chocolate lover I couldn't finish: I felt like I was eating raw cake batter; the first one passed but there were two and it was really heavy and cloying (at least very far from "chocolate fluted"). When we shared our feelings about the service, the response was: yes, that’s good to say... We had already been there about ten years ago and we had good memories of it. We will not repeat the experience.

10/02/2024: Very good restaurant in Orleans, with excellent service. Tables with cloth tablecloths and napkins. Winter menu at 47 euros with wine selection. Amuse bouche, chicken egg capucino as a starter, pork cheek as a main course and rum baba. The products are fresh and the seasoning was fine. Really good cuisine finally in Orleans.

19/02/2024: If you like steak tartare, look no further: perhaps the best steak tartare I have ever eaten can be found in this restaurant. Fries also delicious, as well as the rillettes (in advance) and the mojito. Therefore recommended.

19/03/2024: If I put cuisine 4* it is very good but not as excellent as in Quimper and Rennes. But there's nothing they can do, the Bretons are the best in the world for pancakes and crepes. I plan to come back to try the pancakes and salad... Fast service, good retro atmosphere, nice decor. I came on the advice of a friend. If you are looking for a good Breton restaurant in Orléans I recommend this one.

18/03/2024: Excellent in every way. Welcome, setting and quality. The small separate tables are a plus I recommend this particular place that took me too long to discover (because it is a little out of the way of the Martroi-Jeanne district of Arc-Bourgogne).

13/05/2024: Pleasant service, decoration done with great taste on the vintage theme. The kidneys were very good, nothing on the tartare, basic. Good desserts (ice cream sundaes). Prices may be a little excessive but we do not know those charged in the region.

05/04/2024: A very nice discovery. The setting is magnificent, the staff attentive. I highly recommend the Novotel Orléans Chemins de Sologne Demeures de Campagne. Very tasteful decoration, spaces to work, to recharge your batteries and original and fine dishes. A very comfortable and pleasant room.

02/04/2024: Absolutely fantastic this "troquet"... with a resolutely ROYAL welcome! The atmosphere at lunch on Saturday, March 23 was incredible, filled with regulars, and even a Hispanic music group passing by to accompany the rays of sunshine that lit up the bay window. We invented a new recipe: the “double cheese burger” = Savoyard + Auvergne burger all in one. The boss, with incredible blonde hair, was very kind, and so was the whole team. We can't wait to come back during our next visit to Orléans! xx
