21/04/2024: Très bonne cuisine authentique à prix raisonnable et ce qui est sûr, c'est que vous ne repartez pas avec la faim car les assiettes sont très bien servies.

08/09/2024: What a fabulous restaurant. Came on rainy Sunday with another couple, wonderful warm welcome. Food was superb I had Gravadlax with beautiful pickled Veg then fresh Tuna followed by selection of cheese ,partner had duck. Tremendous. But best of all was the lovely waitress ( owner?). She made us so welcome. Please try it , it's great.

07/08/2024: Wat blijft dit toch een fantastisch klein restaurant, net 50 meter buiten de drukte van de Bastide, eigenaren heel vriendelijk en het eten, het eten is zo vers en heerlijk bereid. Deze keer kreeft en fruit de mer, heerlijke biologische Muscadet erbij en genieten maar.

06/09/2024: We went for dinner with a group of friends for the first time as the restaurant had been recommended to us. We will most definitely be back. Alexander met us very warmly and asked if we had any allergies etc. We settled in with 5 incredible cocktails, some of the best we’ve had. We were then served with a starter of smoked trout and crab which had been home smoked and the flavours were delicious and the presentation was first class. Our main course was duck breast with an orange glaze which was so beautifully cooked and matched by some equally gorgeous vegetables, the highlight being the torched chicory with maple syrup. The majority of the group had opted for a large carafe of rosé which was very drinkable but some of us also chose a lovely red to go with our duck. Dessert did not disappoint either. We had an amazing caramel flavoured mousse on a chocolate nut base which was heaven on a plate. We then finished with coffee and an exceptional home made calvados type digestiv. Alexander clearly enjoys creating menus and cocktails and said he can create a dinner to suit a group of people eg if you love fish or a particular meat. Also if you dislike anything particular we can specify and he will avoid it. So he offers a very personal experience. The price point was very good for this quality of food and the amount of alcohol consumed too at around £45 per head. Alexander was the perfect host, barman, chef and waiter. We can’t wait to return.

21/08/2024: Juste pour confirmer les bons avis précédents sur le cadre agréable, le service correct, et le menu qui nous a satisfait. Un petit plus pour le rosé local de Soturac , la bouteille n'a pas résistée longtemps !

16/08/2024: Cadre charmant, bien ombragé un charme rupestre. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Une tarte aux noix vraiment fait maison un délice 😍
