In Gavaudun, in the heart of the Dordogne, we savored honest, homemade cuisine with flavors that burst in your mouth. The owners gave us a wonderfully warm welcome. 07/05/2026: A gastronomic gem with unbeatable value for money! I've rarely enjoyed a lunch menu of this quality at such a reasonable price. Starter, main course, and dessert for only €20! L'Ecuelle d'Or is definitely worth a visit to Clairac, this charming little town, admittedly a bit isolated, but very pleasant. With this level of culinary mastery, you absolutely must (re)discover this establishment where gastronomy truly comes to life. To top it all off, the welcome is extremely pleasant, both warm and familial. A must-visit in the Lot-et-Garonne (department 47)!
