13/05/2026: A very good restaurant serving traditional Quercy and French cuisine, sometimes with a modern twist. I've been going there regularly for about ten years and have always received a warm welcome. All the dishes, from appetizers to desserts, are 100% fresh and homemade.

01/05/2026: The service was truly appalling. One has to wonder why anyone would choose this profession if they clearly dislike interacting with customers. The waitress was unpleasant, and even asking a simple question about how the food would be cooked or what side dish you wanted seemed to bother her. As for the food, while the prices are certainly low, the quality reflects that. Frozen ribeye steak served with large, un-homemade fries, crispy salmon, and vegetables swimming in water… it's hard to imagine anything worse. Only the desserts (panna cotta and profiteroles) offered a slight improvement.
In short, a very bad experience. We've tried other, much better restaurants in Souillac—this one is definitely one to avoid.

27/04/2026: Excellent bakery. The service is exemplary: the baker is pleasant, honest, and offers excellent advice. The selection of breads is diverse, including heritage flours and sourdough or yeast-leavened loaves. A covered dining area with restrooms is available, which is a real plus for a break on site.

The bread is excellent, it makes you want to buy everything 😄
There were six of us and we had lunch there; everything was delicious.
And what's more, the two girls at the counter are incredibly welcoming!

10/05/2026: The setting is pleasant and welcoming; it's a shame I stopped by on a very quiet evening.
The food is good but could perhaps use a bit more originality, at least in the presentation—no doubt due to its recent reopening. It has great potential for improvement and growing in popularity.

15/09/2024: Bonjour, côté hôtel et restauration, ambiance feutrée, équipe très sympathique, dynamique, aux petits soins, les plats sont très bons et généreux, côté brasserie, on peux déguster une boisson sur une belle place sous les platanes ou entrer dans la salle, toujours un plaisir d'y retourner ! Je recommande 👍
26/08/2024: I spent one night in this hotel at the end of July. The staff were very friendly and very kind. The room was pleasant but due to the high heat and the lack of air conditioning the night was not very restful.

27/07/2024: Nous avons trouvé cette bonne table avoir avoir visité le château de Carlux. La vue panoramique est magnifique. Les produits servis sont d'une fraicheur incroyable ! les assiettes sont très copieuses. Notre serveuse était souriante, dynamique et de très bons conseils. Nous nous sommes régalés, mon assiette végétarienne délicieuse. Les fruits étaient savoureux et murs à point.

07/06/2024: Planche apéro ! Les produits d'un producteur local, un délice! La terrasse est super agréable, les serveurs à l'écoute et pros, on est content de retrouver Mathieu et son équipe, vive le soleil , l'été arrive .
