20/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A superb discovery at La Récréation! 🤩 All the ingredients are there for a wonderful experience: cuisine worthy of a top-notch gourmet restaurant, refined dishes, beautiful flavor combinations, and plates as beautiful as they are delicious. The setting is simply idyllic! This former school, transformed into a restaurant, gives the place immense charm and perfectly suits the name La Récréation 😊 Add to that a warm welcome and impeccable service, and you have an address we recommend without hesitation. A truly delightful gourmet "recreation" 😋 that we will be delighted to repeat!

15/09/2026: Do you dream of an authentic place where time seems to slow down and the food is more tempting than the next, all overlooking one of the most beautiful villages in France (and surely the world!)? Le Saint-Cirq Gourmand embodies all these qualities and many more. This is an extremely charming establishment with staff who are as friendly as they are efficient. I just enjoyed a piping hot, homemade waffle (and you can tell!), topped with gently sweetened local strawberries and accompanied by a delicious, homemade whipped cream that wasn't cloying, all served on a delightfully vintage plate. I also won't forget the green tea with its subtle and refreshing notes. Everything here invites you to daydream, and there's no doubt that André Breton, had he had the chance to frequent its panoramic terrace, would have "immediately ceased to desire to be anywhere else" and would have seen it as "like a pastis impossible to drink!" Thank you ladies for your welcome and the poetry of the place you have created.

14/09/2026: This is a charming restaurant where cooking is simply perfect. It's simple, delicious, and fresh. The young women who greet you are always smiling. They serve savory tarts, salads with excellent dressings, and desserts, including the famous pastis. And, to top it all off, there's a breathtaking view of the village! I swear, I'll be back!

24/08/2026: This little restaurant, run by a couple, serves homemade food, and it's priceless! (And yet, the prices are far from exorbitant.) The Maroilles cheese tart is to die for! 😍😍 The daily special (ribs, fries, and salad) is a very generous portion for €15.50, I think. Absolutely delicious!! The owners are friendly and communicative, and they go the extra mile! With dishes from the North, Normandy, and Périgord regions, there's something for everyone! I highly recommend this establishment, which is open year-round. I fueled up before an 80km kayak trip, and I'm so glad I came to eat here! 05/09/2026: Honestly, go there without hesitation! I haven't enjoyed a meal this much in ages. Everything is delicious and served at the perfect temperature. I had the €28 set menu: duck confit with carrot purée, spinach and mushroom terrine, and potato gratin on the side. Everything is homemade, even the dessert! The presentation of the dishes is amazing!!! Everything is delicious without exception. All the ingredients are local and expertly prepared!! Bravo to the chef and all the staff!! 👏❣️
