26/06/2026: Second time to visit this place and it is good. I got a serloin steak medium well and it was so good. Steak was so soft perfectly done and coupled with chips, salad and grilled veggies. Nice place to visit for a steak.

01/06/2026: This is an excellent restaurant! The food is excellent, seasonal, and the portions are quite generous. It's really, really good. You shouldn't be in too much of a hurry, though; it can sometimes be a little slow for those who aren't patient. But the food is so good!

29/04/2026: Been my go-to coffee shop ever since I moved to Nancy. The staff are really nice and they always have scrumptious desserts! 😋 If you only come here for coffee after lunch, they only serve it at 2pm - which makes sense since they also serve lunch. The smell of coffee lingers the place and they always have good jazz music. Such a cozy place to be all season round. ✨

22/08/2026: A very nice shopping center, large, clean, and pleasant. It's a shame, however, that there aren't more shops and new stores to expand the offerings. This would bring even more vibrancy to the center.

20/08/2026: Why doesn't the shopping center install benches in a few places so people can take short breaks? Think of people with disabilities who sometimes need to take breaks because we can't stand for very long.

16/06/2026: Friendly welcome, good selection of beers. For a café/bar near a train station, I think it's decent. However, the wait for service was very long, even though there were only four of us in the entire place. My meat was dry, even though it was meat in sauce. There were lots of little flies trying to get inside, which was annoying.

25/04/2026: While waiting for a TGV, I ordered steak tartare and chocolate mousse. What seems like standard fare in a brasserie. I was served something obviously mass-produced and clearly refrigerated. The mousse also seemed to be as mass-produced as they come, but the kind you'd find at a motorway service station.

19/08/2026: The saleswoman was lovely, but the chocolates were a bit less so. The shop is full of tempting sweets. The chocolate treat I was served was a little past its prime, but the Bergamot chocolates were delicious.

11/08/2026: A very good breakfast experience. The coffee is delicious and the pastry, the vanilla flan, is wonderfully smooth, all in a quiet spot on the terrace. I highly recommend it!

08/07/2026: My friend sat down for two seconds on one of the chairs to look for something in his bag (the terrace was almost empty). One of the waiters came over and very aggressively told him to get up. He then stared at us for a while. The atmosphere was frankly unpleasant.

06/07/2026: Two Shores Beach As a couple, we arrived this Sunday around 5 pm and sat down in a cozy spot in the shade. Thirty minutes later, no one had come to take our order, so my partner decided to go to the bar to get our 50cl beers. At 6:15 pm, the atmosphere was good, we liked the place, so we decided to enjoy a mixed platter with a bottle of wine. The bottle was served to us by a courteous, friendly, and pleasant waiter who explained that we would have to go and get the platter ourselves. At 7:30 pm, a young waitress, displaying an appalling lack of professionalism, asked us to change tables, saying she had to move ours to the next one because of a reservation for eight people for a birthday party. I told her I didn't want to leave this cozy spot for a table in full sun or one where I wouldn't be able to see the beach as I could at that moment. If the table had been reserved, a little courtesy—a small note on the table with the reservation time or a friendly welcome about thirty minutes beforehand—might have made us cooperative. But being practically thrown out as if we were unwanted, with no consideration or solution offered... The experience was ruined; avoid at all costs.

16/08/2026: I am eager to sample the dishes you offer, but I must say that your pastries seem to have been conceived according to the principles of royal austerity: very little weight, very little flavor, and a shape that even Le Nôtre would have contemplated in silence, seized with horror. As for the welcome, it reminded me with remarkable fidelity of the Place de Grève: as warm as an executioner on the morning of a public execution. In short, we have an experience so innovative that it almost deserves to be recorded in the registers of the Kingdom: Pastries as light as a vol-au-vent! Shapeless as a back road. Tasteless as an English letter. All of this elevated to the status of abstruse contemporary art. Jean-Baptiste Colbert, Controller General of Finances, would probably have demanded the return of his louis d'or, and you would have proposed a stay in jail!

06/07/2026: A historic bakery, ideally located, with a storefront. You might think the experience ends with the bread, but no: the real show is outside. For years, the delivery truck seems to consider the sidewalk a natural extension of the road, making passage difficult for strollers, wheelchairs, and anyone else who has the audacity to walk on... the sidewalk. The bakery's bicycle also enjoys a prime spot, precisely where it most obstructs pedestrians. You almost start to think it's part of the street furniture. Inside, the employees behind the counter are impeccable: pleasant, professional, and welcoming. They deserve much better than the atmosphere sometimes conveyed by management. It's particularly unpleasant to witness an employee being reprimanded in front of customers. Shameful! The frosty reception from management: a house specialty, it seems to me... For several years now, the impression has remained exactly the same. I won't comment on the products: that's not the point, and they're not the reason for my review. In short: an excellent location, a team at the counter doing their best, but management that gives the impression that basic courtesy, both towards customers and public spaces, is optional. The sidewalk isn't a parking lot (and the same goes for your customers who park in front of it on the sidewalk every 10 minutes, blocking pedestrians on Rue Jeanne d'Arc). I urge the city of Nancy to intervene in this small corner of the street (this section of the neighborhood, all around the bakery) which is becoming, day by day, an illegal parking lot, a public urinal, a shooting gallery, and an open-air garbage dump.
