15/03/2026: Second brunch at Frères Marchand. We came in April 2025 and had a 5-star experience. This time, we were disappointed with the brunch on March 15, 2026, for several reasons: - The portions were generally much smaller compared to last year. - The savory options were no longer as varied or frequently offered. - €8.50 for a one-liter bottle of sparkling water... That's quite expensive. - Only three sweet options (a quarter of a very dry waffle, a caramel pancake, and a slice of blueberry tart that was only 1.5 cm wide). - The price had increased to €36.90 (compared to €31 in 2025). Fortunately, the cheeses and charcuterie were still of very high quality, and coffee/tea and orange juice were still unlimited. It was still a lovely experience, but the price and the reduced selection make us hesitate to return.

15/04/2026: A beautiful spot for an afternoon break (they have a sweet and savory menu between 3 and 6 pm, plus an afternoon tea option) in an art deco setting. Admittedly, my cream puffs were a little dry, but the most important thing about profiteroles is the chocolate, which was delicious and so plentiful that I finished it off with a teaspoon! The service was perfect (the waitress was friendly and cheerful), and the place is well worth a visit.

18/03/2026: Breakfast menu: the twisted pastry was a bit small but good, the hot chocolate was served in a glass rather than a mug, which was just the right amount. The saleswoman, who had glasses with yellow lenses, was very friendly.

02/04/2026: A very pleasant setting; the dining room is beautifully decorated. The dishes on the menu are good, homemade, and made with fresh, mostly local ingredients. Example of the menu we chose that day: pulled pork with two types of purée and a four-citrus fruit fondant. Absolutely delicious! Friendly service. A great place to remember.

18/03/2026: In a restaurant with an unassuming exterior, we were pleasantly surprised to find a dining room with a warm, bistro-like atmosphere. We enjoyed authentic cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but there's something for everyone; everything is fresh, flavorful, and delicate. There's also a good wine list. The bill, including a starter, main course, dessert, two glasses of wine each, and coffee, came to €55 per person. Excellent value for money for such precise and refined cuisine.
