I would like to emphasize the attentiveness and availability of the team at the Hotel Edouard VII, who were able to fully meet our needs. Our journalist guests were also very satisfied, both with the central and easily accessible location, and with the service and staff dedicated to our event. I highly recommend it.

05/07/2026: The restaurant boasts a magnificent Egyptian-inspired setting, with tasteful decor that immerses you in a warm and exotic atmosphere. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The staff is welcoming and attentive. An excellent place that I highly recommend!

09/09/2026: In March, we organized a reggae concert at Digital Village. From the moment we booked until the day of the show, we received exceptional support. The restaurant prices were very reasonable, and the staff were extremely helpful. A must-visit for any type of event or occasion.

10/08/2026: We were looking to organize a small cocktail reception after our civil wedding ceremony at the 13th arrondissement town hall, and Café du Village exceeded our expectations! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious, a space was reserved for us at no extra cost (with the option to play our own music), and so on. All this for a very reasonable price. We're so happy to have found places like this in the neighborhood; go there without hesitation to organize your events!

06/09/2026: There were three of us. We ordered the €37.50 set menu, and everything was excellent. The owner gave us a warm welcome, was kind and very friendly, and took the time to explain the dishes. She was very knowledgeable about the wine list and recommended wines to complement our choices. Everything was perfect. We will gladly return without hesitation.

09/08/2026: It was a wonderful experience. The waitress treated us incredibly well and was very kind. The food was superb, some of the best of the trip. I loved the duck and the cheese with jam. And the raspberry tart was spectacular.

27/08/2026: I went there on my first night in Paris. I had champagne, tartare and oysters, and the daily special, lamb. Basically, everything was delicious, and the tartare with lamb made for a very satisfying meal. Because we were seated near the entrance, there were several flies, but they changed our seats when we asked. Pigeons even flew into the restaurant, so it was quite a free-spirited place.

29/08/2026: We had our last lunch in Paris at Astair, and I’m so glad we chose this place. It’s inside Passage des Panoramas, one of those beautiful covered passages in Paris that I honestly never knew existed before this trip. Because of our tour guide, we walked through several of them, including Passage Jouffroy and Passage Verdeau. They became our shortcuts whenever we were going somewhere, especially when it was so hot outside. They are so beautiful, with all the small shops, cafés and restaurants inside. Definitely something worth experiencing when you’re in Paris. Astair itself is really pretty and has a very nice French bistro feel. I loved the circular bar in the middle of the restaurant. The place feels chic and very Parisian, but still comfortable and relaxed. We had the French onion soup, escargots, côte de bœuf and profiteroles. Everything was very good, but the escargots were my favorite. They were so buttery and garlicky that I honestly could have ordered another plate. The onion soup was also delicious and comforting, the beef was cooked well and generous enough to share, and the profiteroles were the perfect way to end the meal. The service was also exceptional. Tia, our server, was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. She really took good care of us. We also met the Filipino manager, and I feel bad that I can’t remember his name, but he was so warm and welcoming. It was nice meeting a fellow Filipino all the way in Paris. Such a lovely last meal before leaving the city. If you come here, take time to walk around the passages before or after lunch. We will definitely come back to Astair, especially for the escargots!

04/08/2026: tldr: Food was mostly presented and was good, but not great. Service was excellent and attentive. Good wines by the glass. Decor was too minimal for the upscale dining experience. Foie gras starter was ok. Asparagus starter had lovely, perfectly cooked vege, but sauce missed the mark. Braised beef entree was good, duck entree was very good. Rhubarb strawberry desert was good. We appreciated the 2 or 3 course fixed price options and were glad to have tried it.

02/08/2026: Nice little restaurant, the food is carefully prepared, very satisfied, I had tartar for starter and duck breast for main, both are very good.
