09/09/2026: I used this restaurant for breakfast at the hotel. It's a nice, clean restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast menu is just right—not too much, not too little—and everything is delicious. I especially liked the fried noodles made with buckwheat flour. There were also several kinds of bread, and they were all tasty.

The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The staff is welcoming and attentive. An excellent place that I highly recommend!

06/09/2026: There were three of us. We ordered the €37.50 set menu, and everything was excellent. The owner gave us a warm welcome, was kind and very friendly, and took the time to explain the dishes. She was very knowledgeable about the wine list and recommended wines to complement our choices. Everything was perfect. We will gladly return without hesitation.

09/08/2026: It was a wonderful experience. The waitress treated us incredibly well and was very kind. The food was superb, some of the best of the trip. I loved the duck and the cheese with jam. And the raspberry tart was spectacular.

29/08/2026: We had our last lunch in Paris at Astair, and I’m so glad we chose this place. It’s inside Passage des Panoramas, one of those beautiful covered passages in Paris that I honestly never knew existed before this trip. Because of our tour guide, we walked through several of them, including Passage Jouffroy and Passage Verdeau. They became our shortcuts whenever we were going somewhere, especially when it was so hot outside. They are so beautiful, with all the small shops, cafés and restaurants inside. Definitely something worth experiencing when you’re in Paris. Astair itself is really pretty and has a very nice French bistro feel. I loved the circular bar in the middle of the restaurant. The place feels chic and very Parisian, but still comfortable and relaxed. We had the French onion soup, escargots, côte de bœuf and profiteroles. Everything was very good, but the escargots were my favorite. They were so buttery and garlicky that I honestly could have ordered another plate. The onion soup was also delicious and comforting, the beef was cooked well and generous enough to share, and the profiteroles were the perfect way to end the meal. The service was also exceptional. Tia, our server, was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. She really took good care of us. We also met the Filipino manager, and I feel bad that I can’t remember his name, but he was so warm and welcoming. It was nice meeting a fellow Filipino all the way in Paris. Such a lovely last meal before leaving the city. If you come here, take time to walk around the passages before or after lunch. We will definitely come back to Astair, especially for the escargots!

08/09/2026: A restaurant that looks unassuming from the outside, but inside it offers an unbeatable French ambiance with Parisian charm, delicious food, upscale prices and yet a relaxed atmosphere…we will come again.

27/09/2026: The lack of consistency in the information we received from the different servers led to a particularly awkward and, frankly, extremely embarrassing situation. On Sunday, around noon, I asked a server at the entrance if he had a small table available for us for about an hour so we could have something to drink and perhaps a light snack. The server agreed and showed us to a table. A few moments later, another server brought us two menus: one offering main courses, more suited to lunchtime or the beginning of dinner, and the other listing alcoholic beverages. I explained to him that we didn't want a full meal and that the first server had told us we could sit down and have something to drink and perhaps order a small snack. When we asked if it was possible to order something light, we felt pressured to choose a dish from the extensive menu, even though the options weren't really appropriate for the time of day. Furthermore, no one offered us water, which, in an establishment of this caliber, seems like the bare minimum and a given. Finally, our coffees were served without saucers, on a single shared metal tray. This was all the more awkward as other customers were being served their coffee with elegant porcelain saucers. To make matters worse, after serving our coffees, the waiter ostentatiously removed the white tablecloth from our table. Combined with everything that had come before, this gesture made us feel unwelcome simply because we hadn't ordered a full meal. This entire situation made us extremely uncomfortable and caused us a real sense of embarrassment. It is all the more regrettable because this situation could have been very easily avoided if the staff had given us clear and consistent information from the outset, and had shown us the same courtesy and attention that was evidently given to other customers.

27/09/2026: The most unfriendly experience in 30 years of visiting Paris. I have been visiting Paris regularly for around 30 years, and never before have we been made to feel as unwelcome as we did today at VAUDEVILLE. At the entrance, we specifically asked whether we could have a table for about an hour to enjoy a drink and perhaps a light bite. We were warmly told that this was absolutely fine. As there were no light bites available, we decided to have coffee only. From that moment on, our waiter Nader made it very clear that this was apparently not appreciated. Guests at neighbouring tables were also only having coffee, served properly on a saucer with a glass of water. Ours was brought without a saucer, on an aluminium tray, with no water. The white tablecloth was then even removed from our table. Despite at least 30 tables being empty, Nader informed us that we would have to leave our table as soon as guests arrived for lunch. After half an hour, we decided to leave this unpleasant atmosphere. The numerous empty tables were still empty. If guests are only welcome as long as they spend enough, this should perhaps be made clear at the entrance. For us, this was our first and last visit to VAUDEVILLE.

21/09/2026: A little gem tucked away on a picturesque street in the second arrondissement, offering a warm welcome, delicious and refined cuisine, and a customizable three-course menu from a selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. Alternatively, you can let the chef create a five-course menu just for you. The prices are very reasonable for such a delightful opportunity to explore the art of French dining.

18/09/2026: We had a very enjoyable evening here last night. It was very good. It wasn't absolutely excellent, so 4*. Good - a superb souffle - the duck was delicious - the crab starters were excellent - the two serving staff were fantastic all night: non-stop, friendly, efficient, helpful - great wine list Less good - the pork was underwhelming - the non-alcoholic cocktail was just a blend of different fruit juice, and it was insulting to be charged $12 for it - it was so warm in the restaurant - the light directly above us flickered all night which was quite distracting and headache triggering, but the restaurant was full so we couldn't move

30/09/2026: Amazing team, delicious food, and incredible cocktails! Head straight to Le Distrait, everything is absolutely perfect :) I booked the bar for my birthday and the team handled everything flawlessly. Thanks again to Philippine and the whole team ;)

19/09/2026: The owner's welcome was cold, without a smile, which set the tone from the start. The dishes were served in very small portions, for a price that didn't justify them. Above all, we very quickly got the feeling we were intruding as soon as we left our table. We wanted to move to other areas, which were empty and unoccupied, but we were made to understand that we had to stay where we were. We felt watched and pressured, which doesn't exactly help in enjoying a festive occasion. It might be an okay place for a quick drink, but I wouldn't recommend it for celebrating something with a group.
