06/04/2024: Nice public square with some lovely trees, a fountain, and beautiful buildings surrounding it. Worth a short visit

05/04/2024: In a very lively district of Paris, which is the Marais; is the oldest square from the beginning of the 17th century, under the aegis of Henri IV, a calm green space, and fountains, which is surrounded by brick buildings red beautiful works. It's so magnificent that we find ourselves centuries back in time. A celebrity I don't know is wrong, in the 19th century V.Hugo lived in this place.

17/04/2024: A very pretty setting but a promise that is not completely kept: The two people who arrived first had to wait at the entrance for the third.... We started with two glasses of white wine. A Riesling and a Chablis. They brought us two glasses without showing us the bottles. The vol au vent lacked sauce, the chicken was a little dry and everything was rather lukewarm. We asked for more sauce which arrived a little late. A poultry supreme with an uninteresting sauce. The duck breast was cooked correctly. Nice end note with the black forest even if we had the impression of being in a hurry to pay the bill.

16/04/2024: My husband and I enjoyed a late seating eating Lobster flambé, bar tartare (sea bass and scallops) French onion soup, Black Forest cake, quality rose champagne all set in a big, bright room with art deco lighting and stained glass. Excellent quality food in buzzing classic brasserie setting. Waiter not paying attention to initial drinks order but service improved as evening went on.

03/04/2024: If you want to ruin your evening and waste your time, you must contact this establishment which pretends to show understanding and then traps you. The evening in question? The 60th birthday of a severely disabled person. What a shame...

06/04/2024: This is a delightful French restaurant. Gorgeous environment and atmosphere. Ask for the table upstairs in the window! Service was relaxed but very friendly and attentive, not stuffy. Food was beautiful. Good value too.

28/03/2024: Berhillon, or the institution of Parisian ice cream parlors, is a must to enjoy magnificent ice creams and sorbets. The prices are affordable and the quality has remained for 80 years. The ideal place to enjoy a gourmet moment and high quality products. To do, redo or simply discover. Never disappointed, ad vitam addict.

28/03/2024: What can I say that hasn’t been said!! I went there when I was 20, I returned there 50 years later and succumbed to a mixture of frozen chestnut ice cream and fresh pistachios......and I regret all the others!!😍

04/04/2024: A flawless performance for Benedict! A shopkeeper recommended the restaurant to us and we were pleasantly surprised: although we arrived late for lunch, we were allocated a table and served very warmly. The staff is professional and friendly, the service fast and the food excellent. The eggs perfectly cooked and the sauce excellent. I loved the sweet potatoes which accompanied the dish wonderfully. The prices are affordable, and the place is superb in my opinion. The decor is very tasteful, modern chic without overdoing it. It’s a must-see place for brunch in Paris!

27/04/2024: We stayed nearby and Les Philosophies became our “local”, having croissant breakfasts, lunch and dinner over the days. The food was always great and the service excellent our waiter was particularly entertaining and welcomed us as long lost friends. Highly recommended

26/04/2024: We found out through a local chef that at this restaurant everything is made at the house with fresh ingredients - food was really amazing - service very friendly and professional and best food in Paris

10/05/2024: This place was highly recommended by a Parisian friend, and we had high hopes. While it was good, it was not as great as we were hoping. For starter, I had the asparagus soup, which was delicious. For my main, I had the fillet mignon, which, much to my surprise, was almost cooked "well done." I always like beef cooked medium rare and never had to be too specific about this in France, but this was an unhappy accident (maybe its because they seem to be catering mostly tourists that ask for disappointing well done steaks ?). For dessert, I had a chocolate cake, which was a massive disappointment - dry and unremarkable - something that would only be fit if this would be someone's first cake. The service was great, and the sommelier gave us some very good recommendations.

09/05/2024: Very tasty food, only comment is that the main course was over salted. Top service!

03/04/2024: Very busy and crowded and loud. Lemon tart is a bit expensive, and not even a wow taste. The tea and coffee is just alright. Some of the seating is not really good. Feel like in the middle of some busy passageway, and unfortunately got accidentally hit by the staff when seated…not recommended….

02/04/2024: Boho chic atmosphere .. menú only whats on board attentive and fast service . Have vegetarian options .. and omlette and ok decently runny .. bread not great if you’re into that

06/05/2024: I recommend this place both for the excellent food and for the friendliness of the waiters. As soon as I arrived I waited a little while because I didn't have a reservation and we were welcomed without prejudice. Furthermore, the food was excellent, I took two Savoyarde fondue and two glasses of Chardonnay wine with a total price of €56.
