28/07/2026: A huge thank you to the owner and his team for accommodating us late into the night. We thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the cabin in the garden, which smelled wonderfully of wood and offered a refreshing escape. Excellent service, friendliness, and efficiency from the professionals at this hostel. Don't hesitate to stay here. A father and son from Le Mans.

25/07/2026: Thank you for your reply. The truffade and blueberry tart are known to be delicious. The only problem is, when I ordered them for an afternoon snack after a hike, I was told over the phone and at the time of ordering that they were out of blueberry tart. And as I was leaving, the waitress was serving generous slices to customers luckier than us.

23/06/2026: Hotel booked for my first leg of the GR 30 hike. Lovely hotel in the village center, comfortable and welcoming. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Dinner was eaten in the evening at the restaurant owned by the same person in the village: very good, appetizing food, and the staff was attentive and very welcoming.

11/06/2026: The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very pleasant. The mattress was particularly comfortable, which greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. Breakfast was varied and offered a wide selection. However, the food could be improved. During a multi-day stay with half-board, the lack of variety in the meals quickly became repetitive. Furthermore, the quality of the dishes did not meet our expectations: several items seemed to have been simply reheated rather than freshly prepared.

12/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the reimagined, original, and delicious dishes :)) The "Patranque" - an Auvergne specialty revisited by the chef, was a delight and very easy to digest 😋

11/07/2026: An address to remember. In a pleasant setting, with a discreet yet warm welcome, we enjoyed delicious local cuisine of a very high standard at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend it; these young people deserve to succeed.
