14/05/2026: Although we arrived late in the evening, we were very well received and had a particularly good meal in a warm atmosphere.
12/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. We stopped there by chance and had a wonderful time. The owner is very friendly, and the food is delicious. The fries, burger, and fish and chips were simply excellent. We highly recommend it!

02/04/2026: I highly recommend it. The welcome is very friendly, welcoming, and warm. The pizza is excellent. The rest of the menu is also very interesting, and the prices are very competitive. If you're passing through, don't hesitate to stop by; it's the place to go.

16/04/2026: Excellent traditional cuisine! Very good and impeccable service! The lady was alone handling both the service and the kitchen, we didn't notice a thing, well done!
15/03/2026: A wonderful surprise to discover this delightful restaurant in Thiers, which offers excellent Auvergne specialties. A warm welcome, a cozy atmosphere by the fireplace, and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend Le Chaudron.

25/03/2026: The staff are pleasant and helpful. However, the quality and choice of dishes are declining week by week. Some dishes are tasteless, and the same daily specials are offered far too often. A shame.

15/05/2026: Really great, friendly and pleasant staff, and the interior was clean, although there's still some work to be done on the outdoor terrace.
29/04/2026: No bread with the salad, twice in a row!
The first time was Tuesday at lunchtime, Caesar salad without bread or cutlery. Luckily, I wasn't far away, so I went back, and the young man apologized and fixed it.
This morning, Wednesday, it happened again, this time with a woman. Still no bread. I'm glad I checked as soon as I left.
So that makes two times in a row, two different days, and two different people.
Given how often this happens, I'm starting to wonder if there aren't some internal policy to rip people off: if the customer complains, they fix it, and if not, well, all the better, that's a bonus...
The portions have already shrunk considerably; if you also don't give out the full amount, don't be surprised if people flock to Blachère!

22/02/2026: What a surprise to find ourselves back in the 1990s! Nothing has changed. Same decor, same bathroom. It's high time they brought it up to date.
As for the food, it was bland. The buildings are in a deplorable state. It's a shame, but we won't be returning to the Campanile.
18/02/2026: A stay at the Campanile in Thiers followed a certain internal logic.
The bathroom was marred by visible mold on the walls, grout, and behind the towels, creating a constantly damp atmosphere. While the bathroom did have heating, its switch moved freely and wasn't connected to anything, rendering any attempt to turn it on futile, even in cold weather. Overall, this demonstrates a particularly questionable level of maintenance and consideration for guest comfort. Not recommended.

16/12/2023: repas le midi, en semaine pour le boulot, le lieu est très, très prisé, réservation plus que fortement recommandé... plus de plat du jour, on nous propose une pièces du boucher, soit ! Viande excellente, belle pièce à la cuisson parfaite ! accompagnée de frites qui semblent réellement maison... service très sympa et à accueil souriant..les desserts pris par les convives de notre table semblaient excellents et en portion généreuse. Le seul bémol pour ce lieu .. le bruit, on ne s'entend pas parlé 😅, donc le midi pour un repas en amoureux ou au calme 😅 passez... pour le reste, ne pas hésiter

30/08/2024: Super déjeuner dans cette crêperie en plein cœur de Thiers. Nous étions 8 avec 4 enfants, pas de souci. Très bien accueillis, les crêpes étaient excellentes, service au top du serveur. Ambiance chaleureuse

16/04/2026: The bedding was terrible+++++, the place was really awful
22/03/2026: Very poor quality, a ghost hotel, no one to greet you in the evening and even less so in the morning, no heating in the bathroom, poorly maintained room, disgusting pillow. A place to truly avoid and it doesn't deserve two stars.
