06/03/2026: The food was truly excellent, no complaints there: the cuisine was flavorful and well-prepared. However, I was a little less impressed by the service. The waiter was quite direct and sometimes a bit too familiar, with a few digs that, while not malicious, didn't seem appropriate for the atmosphere of the place. I also think that certain small touches in the service make a difference, for example, serving the women's drinks first, or simply maintaining a certain discretion and elegance in the interaction. These are details, but they contribute to the overall experience. It's a shame, because the quality of the food really deserves to be highlighted.

03/03/2026: Quick and pleasant welcome. Attentive waitstaff. The menu was interesting, but ultimately the starter (scallops) had a rather bland sauce, followed by a disappointing risotto with spirulina—compact and lacking in flavor. The whole thing was saved by an excellent crayfish sauce. The à la carte menu (over €30) offered scallops with a dense risotto. My wife didn't finish it, as she didn't enjoy eating it. Sorry, but we were disappointed.

05/03/2026: We had a lovely time as a family (about fifteen of us) at the Espassole restaurant. We enjoyed the all-you-can-eat buffet, the daily special, and the desserts. The food was very good. I recommend it.

18/02/2026: Discovered by chance in the center of Thuir, this warm and inviting restaurant, with its pleasant jazz music, was a delightful surprise for lunch. The food was excellent, all homemade, with a weekday menu for under €20. Highly recommended.
