02/08/2026: This place is a must-go for anyone visiting the area. The sweets and coffee are incredible, and the owner Thibault and Ijuliette and louise who works here are so kind and welcoming . The ambiance is so cute 😍 my pup and I live nearby and go every day the matcha is so healthy and delicious . The lemonade is like no other I've ever had, sooo good

Lyonnaise cuisine and its specialties are very well represented on the menu. What more can I say, except that the waitresses, waiters, and owners are all incredibly attentive. 27/07/2026: A gift from our children, it was amazing! I loved it, I love anything to do with shows. Being part of a volunteer association where we also put on a show once a year, I thought it was fantastic that there was a magician, an impressionist, even the owners and the young waiters were great. We had a wonderful evening, I highly recommend it. It's an excellent remedy for depression. Well done to the team, Les Pieds en Plat, keep up the good work, we'll be back!

22/06/2026: A great find! Highly recommended! The food is excellent. The dishes are high quality, but perhaps not quite generous enough. I had the Milanese veal cutlet. It was delicious. For dessert, the tarte tatin was also wonderful. It just needed a scoop of vanilla ice cream to complete the meal! The bread is very good, and the carafe of water is very cold. The prices are very reasonable. Thank you 😁

06/08/2026: Great experience at this restaurant in Vieux Lyon. The food was amazing and everything was plated beautifully. We ordered the fois gras poêle , poisson du jour and the margret de canard and they were all cooked very well . The service was also really nice and good ambience. Thank you

01/07/2026: A very pleasant setting. The andouille sausage with mustard sauce, the pea and tarragon flan with basil, and the dauphinoise potatoes served like quenelles were all delicious. The chocolate fondant was also excellent. In short, a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

09/06/2026: This place is quite typical and the food is very good. This traditional bistro is definitely worth discovering.

12/06/2026: We had a very good meal; the portions were generous and everything was served quickly. For starters, a special mention goes to the eggs meurette and the Lyonnaise salad, which were both excellent. For our main course, we had quenelles, which were plentiful and very well prepared. A special mention for the praline tart, which was simply superb—in short, I highly recommend it and don't hesitate to make a reservation.

12/06/2026: The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The food at Restaurant Café du Soleil was generally very good, and the menu was quite comprehensive. However, the portions were truly enormous, much larger than I expected. One person ordering just one dish would be quite full, and might even be unable to finish. The prices didn't seem cheap, but considering the portions, it was understandable. I suggest not ordering too much; if you don't have a big appetite, you can share with a few people, or order less.

24/07/2026: 4* deduction!! Warning! Additional fees are being illegally charged on non-F credit cards! This is prohibited in the EU!! To the boss - absolutely unacceptable! Shame on you!!

18/07/2026: Delicious food with remarkable flavours served on the terrace, accompanied by a fantastic white wine from Albert Boxler (Gewürztraminer Réserve 2014). Unfortunately, the wine wasn’t served cold enough and had been placed in the cooler on the dirty ground (cigarette ends etc).
