21/03/2024: Excellent food in a very nice atmosphere. Very helpful, friendly service. We ordered a daily menu and there was a lot to choose from. We are very happy to have found this restaurant. It is only open at lunchtime, Tuesday to Sunday. You should get there early enough to get a spot.

13/05/2024: we came for lunch in this restaurant and the welcome was very warm! the service was efficient and the woman who took care of our table gave us good recommendations! it’s a great place to discover the traditional food of Lyon, we will come back with our eyes closed! the copious menus suited us and we enjoyed ourselves!

Burgundy snails, Savoyard fondue, chicken fricassee with porcini mushrooms, frog leg with parsley, duck breast. We recommend this restaurant with friends, but not too suitable for couples. Prices are correct. Enjoy ! :)

04/04/2024: I booked thinking I would have a great evening in this restaurant which ended in disaster because I had an allergy I stipulated in the email before coming to the restaurant because they asked for it my allergies which were not taken into account once I arrived at the restaurant they asked me again so I stipulated I am allergic to peanuts, sesame, almonds, hazelnuts… We start the meal, several people ask us the same questions The sommelier who tells me it has more flavor I can't describe the aromas to you I am served bread with sesame seeds so I say I am allergic The person apologizes I do not say anything The dishes arrive, the snails and scallops are overcooked, the flavors are not there, in short the cuisine is disappointing I don't understand the star Then dessert arrives, they inverted the pots and I ate a biscuit made from I don't know what which created an allergy, I'm starting to feel bad I stipulate it and in fact the person with me at the table did not have a biscuit, they made a mistake and since it was hidden I did not suspect it In short, the allergy arrives, the waitress tells me sorry, I'm going to get the manager She doesn't arrive, 5 minutes pass I can't wait I say too bad let's go to the counter to collect our things so that I can go and get my medicine in the car The manager arrives and apologizes then just offers me my meal so I paid for my drinks and my guest's dish and as a bonus I ended up with an allergy or I'll spare you the details but I could have died from it … I do not recommend the food is not good and the staff is incompetent Having to repeat your allergies three times and being served them twice is serious Especially for the price. 21/03/2024: We are regulars but we feel a small drop in service plus air conditioning and additional heating for an average C suite....
15/03/2024: There is no reception at this hotel, so the hotel entrance, room and elevator operate by code. So very impersonal. In addition, you are given a telephone number in case of emergency, which supposedly works 24/7 but we had no luck, while my husband was stuck in the elevator, this number never reached answered (yet call at 9:00 a.m.!). And when I called during the day to complain, I was assured in a peremptory tone that this number was always answered. Furthermore, the bed is located upstairs by climbing a very narrow and very steep staircase. Not practical when the toilets and bathroom are on the lower floor. Very dark suite, no heating (it's still 6/8° at night...), very limited storage, for a weekend it's okay, but no more... we didn't have breakfast, because we don't eat not much in the morning and the price is prohibitive (29€/person), but NESPRESSO machine in the room and a Pralus store 100m away where we stocked up on Praluline, a delicious praline brioche. Almost no welcome products, only liquid soap dispenser. Positive points all the same: very comfortable bed, hotel well located in the heart of old Lyon, well-restored historic building. We will not return to this type of hotel without service and operating on an economy basis, for a price that is not insignificant...
