03/10/2024: I chose this restaurant because they sold Lyon specialities. To be honest, I liked the view and the atmosphere because it's near the central attractions. But the food was a little strange for me and my friend. Also we had little time because we had to catch our bus to another city, and the kitchen took so long to serve (about 20mins). Unluckily, we couldn't finsh all the food, we left more than a half. I could only ate potatos because the meat was made weird and very salty (I'm sorry to Lyonnais if the meat was how it supposed to be).

02/10/2024: Passing through Lyon we ate in this small creperie in old Lyon, apart from the fact that this restaurant is well located in the heart of the old town and which is nice, we can't say the same about the staff when we ask them some question seeing as we do m 'answered we would say that we make them c…r in short then frankly the pancakes are not sensational but a positive point not expensive

08/12/2025: Little choice and dilapidated and dirty place

08/12/2025: The restaurant is awful inside. The toilets are filthy, the television is covered in dust… For such a prime location, this restaurant has enormous potential. To our surprise, the food was excellent. The staff who served us were very friendly, but there were some unacceptable details for a restaurant: there were four of us and only two plates were set; we had to ask for the other two… We ordered three steaks and were given ordinary table knives, impossible to cut the meat with. We had to ask for proper knives, something that should be obvious in the service. In short: very good food, friendly staff, but a lack of attention to detail, as well as poor cleanliness and decor.

28/09/2024: Excellent time at the FAV! Very high quality dishes, and impeccable service even with a table of 15 people! Go there with your eyes closed!

27/09/2024: A very cozy atmosphere, in a room full of charm. The staff are adorable! In the evening the menu is small but will please everyone (or almost): the food is excellent, from fries to eggplant caviar to fish tacos. It was our first visit but certainly not the last!

18/12/2024: Excellent repas dans ce bouchon haut de gamme. Un menu qui ne laisse pas sur sa faim et des plats qui nous ont regalé. Avec un service très agréable, plein d'humour et de bon conseil (merci notamment à Lenaig).

10/12/2024: Mal reçu, le réceptionniste ne trouvait pas notre réservation faite par téléphone nous a renvoyes; j'ai cherché sur mon téléphone la preuve de ma réservation mais ne l'ai pas trouvee; toujours avec la personne qui n ous disait de partir; finalement une vraie professionnelle est arrivée et à trouvé rapidement notre réservation...pas d'excuses présentées....mais c'est vrai qu'en 2024 ça ne se fait plus; je n'avais pas reçu de confirmation car mon adresse mail était fausse....nous avons été placé dans une descente pour fauteuil roulant avec beaucoup de difficultés pour arriver à tirer les chaises pour s'installer alors qu'il y avait des tables vides à côté....bref j'ai eu honte par rapport aux personnes avec lesquelles j'étais venues....je ne recommanderais plus votre restaurant.

20/09/2024: Certainly the most beautiful view of Lyon! As for the cuisine, it is definitely worth the detour. Seasonal, high-quality products are beautifully cooked. A very nice place for lunch.

14/09/2024: Very little wait and served with a smile. Not to mention that the ice creams are very good and with a very wide choice of flavors. I highly recommend.

02/12/2024: Very warm welcome and typical cuisine. I ate the pike quenelle, it was delicious. Good value for money for an evening as a couple or with friends. I don't understand the negative reviews about this restaurant, my partner is a restaurateur and he also enjoyed it! In short, very good time in this restaurant, thank you and see you soon!

01/12/2024: Hello, absolutely avoid. Tourist trap, frozen not even well cooked. salad with brownish traces. Dish of so-called tiny ravioli with disgusting mushrooms and a disgusting sauce. When you go to the toilet, an incredible sight, no paper, no water, the tap is blocked by plastic film. To flee...

07/12/2024: A ÉVITER, entre la vaisselle qui n’est pas nettoyé correctement, les cuissons de la viande qui ne sont pas celle demandés, le prix des boissons qui sont pus que excessifs (6€ minimum pour du soft et 8€ le litre d’eau), les desserts qui nous sont servis sans avoir commandés et qui sont stockés dans le passage du hall d’entrée avec les gâteaux qui sont posés sur le dessus à l’air libre. Niveau hygiène c’est épouvantable. Qu’en au service, pas top mais compréhensible avec le nombre de couvert qu’il y a pour si peut de place dans le restaurant (tous les uns sur les autres). Pour en avoir fais d’autre sur le secteur allez voir ailleurs.

30/09/2024: This is the second time I come to this cafe. The first time I had a bad experience so I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We arrived 40min before closing and sat at one of the tables. The main female waiter seemed super busy so we politely waited to be served. Nothing happened for 10min. I called the second waiter to tell her that we wanted to order and she said "ok", but no one came to our table. 10min passed and I decided to stand up to go to the comptoir to place my order. The woman at the bar told me they were closing (it was 20min before closing) and she wouldn't serve us. I had to tell her that we had been waiting for 20min and she said that she'd made an exception and -annoyed- she asked me what we wanted (she has the right to be annoyed, but HEY we've also been waiting for a while now!). I ordered 2 teas but she refused to serve us the tiramisu we wanted to try. We drank our teas and as people started to leave the waitress that I called to order, came and told us the museum was closing. We were almost done with the teas so we sped up a little. Later a man came and told us "The museum has been closed for 10 minutes already, we are close now" in an unpleasant tone. I said thank you, finished our teas, and left. My advice: The service industry is under tons of recruiting stress which is clearly the cause of their current service; so come to the garden with your snacks (the food is ok but the service makes you feel like you're an inconvenience) to enjoy the garden at your own peace. No need to spend energy ordering at the cafe for now.

22/09/2024: €25 for the starter-main course “menu” – that’s it. Expensive for... meh...: At the same price you can find better, more typical, something to enjoy more, in Lyon; for the same thing on the plate, we expect to pay less. It's better to try something else, all that's left is the memory that it wasn't worth it.

22/09/2024: Restaurant to avoid! Number of places totally disproportionate to the capacities of the kitchen. Servers overwhelmed and on top of each other. A lot of waiting and the 2 starters arrived at the same time as the dishes. Then, a wait of more than 30 minutes before the last 2 dishes arrived... the others had finished eating. We ended up paying without eating the dish. Finally, a bottle of wine for 7 euros sold for 48 euros.
