24/01/2026: We were very disappointed by the quality of some of the dishes. The service was slow. Most importantly, the manager (who was drunk) was arrogant when we complained. This should be reported!
24/01/2026: Disappointed by my experience at Brasserie de l’Est, especially considering the reputation of the Bocuse establishment. The service was pleasant but somewhat erratic, with long waits and some oversights. As for the food, the dishes were decent but below expectations: the flank steak was tough and the chicken was too pink. Overall, it was still acceptable, but the standard doesn't match that of a true institution. Improvements are needed.

29/06/2025: We had an unforgettable evening for my 50th. We were in the separate section, which gave us a lot of privacy for dinner. The food was very good, the pigeon and desserts were perfect. We received all the attention we wanted, no more, no less. A big thank you to Chef Mariller and his entire team.
28/06/2025: The welcome is very friendly, the dishes are sparse, but you'll be more than satisfied given the number of courses.
A very enjoyable gastronomic experience; the flavors are present, and you'll appreciate the blends of textures.

You can taste the care taken with the flavors and the quality of the preparation. The service is also excellent: professional, pleasant, and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The wax-cooked Arctic char and the wood-fired Wagyu blackmore beef are pure marvels of originality and flavors. All complemented by quality service.

The service and dining room were excellent. The set menu dish was delicious.
The buffet featured only the finest products. The jams, freshly made pancakes, etc., were truly top-quality.
And all this for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended! 👏

We appreciated the warm welcome and the personal touch, with the owner handling everything single-handedly in the evening. 👌
The food is equally impressive, offering excellent value for money, reflected in the dishes with high-quality ingredients showcased beautifully in classic combinations.
The flavors are bold and the portions generous.
The wines on offer are unusual and very reasonably priced.
A wonderful experience that would have been truly unforgettable.

06/09/2024: Le lieu n’est pas beaucoup mis en valeur, il faut connaitre le restaurant qu’on voit peu, discret dans une rue secondaire.
cuisine bien maîtrisée, originale, carte courte mais inventive.
Un petit effort à faire sur l’accueil, un peu banal, qu’on aimerait plus chaleureux, car les plats sont de très bonne qualité.
Une adresse à découvrir.

Each of us had 3 courses at Très Imprevu Restaurant.
1. Pea fakafels, spicy mayonnaise and herb salad,
2. Tuna tatali, beetroot sorbet and pickles,
3. Salmon steak, badnati rice and zucchini cream,
4. Beef fillet, sautéed potatoes with parsley, shitake and candied peppers,
5. Peach tart, Vergennes,
6. Chocolate mousse, farmhouses and crispy feuillantine.
Total costs were under €70.
The owners are very nice.
Their business hours were from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.

25/09/2024: Quelle déception . De l’apéritif au dessert la qualité attendu de la part de ce chef qui nous a habitué à Lyon a l’excellence n’y est pas ! Cocktail « madeleine » à revoir et que dire du Vitello tonato totalement raté par la découpe de la viande non italienne car épaisse et la sauce inadaptée ! Les grenouilles à revoir même si « fraîches « la double cuisson implique quand même une cuisson et l’ail persil un minimum de quantité ! Souhaitons à ce bon chef de se remettre rapidement sur les bons rails très difficile de passer d’un petit établissement à cette grande taille ! Petit conseil connaissant le lieu depuis longtemps la terrasse mérite une mise en valeur !
14/09/2024: Grosse déception : nous attendions de tester ce restaurant depuis quelques temps et avons vraiment été déçus par nos assiettes, en dehors d’une succulente côte de bœuf à 140€ pour 3pers, pour les autres, les cuissons n’étaient vraiment pas maîtrisées et nous n’avons pas pris plaisir à manger… De plus, très très cher pour ce que l’on nous a servi.
Dommage, aucune envie d’y revenir…
