15/11/2025: The restaurant has such remarkable cuisine that we enjoy celebrating our birthdays there, among other occasions. The very friendly owner knows how to welcome us and awaken our taste buds with his cooking.

04/03/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant after our visit.
The dining area is very cramped: the upstairs has low ceilings, poor ventilation, is extremely noisy, and quickly becomes stuffy. The children's table was placed right next to the restroom door, which is neither pleasant nor appropriate. The stairs leading upstairs are steep and slippery, truly dangerous for young children.
As for the food, it was decent but uninspired, far from compensating for the overall discomfort. Nothing truly memorable or that would make us want to return.
The service was the most disappointing aspect. The staff was clearly unfriendly: the cook refused to heat our baby's food, citing the lack of a microwave and time. The waiter made a mistake with our aperitif order, and his attitude was not particularly pleasant throughout the meal. For a family outing, we expected a minimum of attention and consideration, which was not the case.
In short, between the unsuitable setting, the heat, the noise, the mediocre quality of the food, and the unwelcoming service, our experience was disappointing from beginning to end. I do not recommend this establishment.
22/02/2026: A wonderful Valentine's Day experience, a very good homemade meal.
We discovered them during the Fête de la Musique and were immediately won over.

13/02/2026: Always a great time with friends. I've been going for 17 years, and it's always a pleasure. Huguette is irreplaceable ;-) Those who prefer modern, refined cuisine should probably avoid this place.

11/03/2026: A very nice restaurant with a typical Lyonnais atmosphere. Excellent service, good quality ingredients, well explained. One star less because, for the price of the dishes, I found the portions, especially the side dishes, a bit stingy (3 pieces of potato with the brains, for example, whereas in some bouchons, at slightly lower prices, they leave the casserole on the table). The brains also lacked a bit of depth in their seasoning. However, the eggs mayonnaise and dessert were good.

07/03/2026: After a Sunday lunch with friends, bone marrow was on the menu! Delicious ^_^. Approximately €35 per person (starter + main course or main course + dessert), including an aperitif without wine. The service was attentive to everyone's needs. TCL bus stop C4, Edgar Quinet, or metro A, Foch.

15/12/2025: Comptoir Cité enjoys an ideal location just steps from the Cité Internationale, making it convenient for lunch during a conference. The portions are decent, but the pulled pork in the Texas burger was a bit dry and harder to chew than one would expect from pulled pork. A practical choice, but with room for improvement in this regard.
24/10/2025: Very nice address, the staff is very welcoming and the dishes generous. Try the Braille table in the evening.

06/03/2026: Very disappointed. The service was practically nonexistent, and the tapas served were ridiculously small. The unpleasant smell upon entering the restrooms was uninviting. A single small light barely concealed the mess... white powder was visible on the floor and on a black edge conveniently placed for plugging in... the place is not to be frequented.
06/03/2026: Great lunch at Plan B! The service on the terrace is quick and very well organized, and the food is delicious thanks to the new chef! Don't hesitate for a great time in the sun.

16/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. In the sense that we're talking about excellence: better cream, better butter, better poultry, etc.
Try the chicken in cream sauce (€38); it's a thousand times better than a certain Monsieur P. The foie gras terrine starter (€30) is perfect. The fried egg with caviar (€60) isn't worth the price, but it's very good. The risotto is exemplary: creamy, rich, and fragrant. The desserts are a notch below, but we were already at a very high level (the soufflé is excellent).
In short, come here for gourmet cuisine from the Bresse/Lyon region (Marguin was at Les Echets), classic and generous.
28/02/2026: Disappointment
While the setting is pleasant, the service is very, even too, fast.
The disappointment lies with the dessert: the tarte tatin.
In fact, it resembled a classic apple tart with a soggy crust. The caramel had been added as a sauce.
What a shame.

10/03/2026: A very nice place, excellent cocktails, no complaints there, the bartender handles them with great skill.
However, the charcuterie board they offer is outrageous. €14 for a few measly bits of charcuterie, served without bread or butter, not even organic... A sausage was also served without butter, even though it's listed on the menu; we had to ask for bread to get some. The place is clearly taking advantage of its location and resting on its laurels to rip off customers. They should make an effort, especially when the bill exceeds €100 just for two rounds of drinks and two charcuterie boards for three people. We'll come back, but only for the drinks and the pleasant atmosphere. Perhaps we'll risk ordering another charcuterie board to improve the bill, but at the risk of it dropping again if the experience is the same.
