27/05/2024: A small, unassuming restaurant with very well prepared dishes is why an American like myself travels to France. The menu has only a few options but every one is well formed.
Every serving is beautiful.
Every bite is delicious.
I recommend coming hungry so you can order the full meal with entree and dessert.
Reservation recommended.
25/05/2024: We stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Speaking only English, we could make out only bits of the menu, but decided to try a fish and a soup. Both were visual works of art with wonderful flavors to match. I wished I were hungry enough to try more. The best meal we've had in Lyon so far!

Well prepared daily menu: grilled squid and variation of vegetables. Excellent gourmet coffee.
06/08/2024: A pleasant moment in a tree-lined courtyard/terrace in the center of LYON where we enjoyed quality cuisine. The desserts were particularly delicious.
Only downside: the first course arrived with our aperitifs. Thank you to the entire Café des Anges team!

Dejeuner il y a qques jours ds ce restaurant très bien tenu , nous avons pris des plats à la carte : entrées, plats et desserts très bien realisés , gouteux , et copieux . Mention spéciale pour les ris d agneau . Accueil et service plaisant et discret . À très vite .

The salad on the children's menu was really appreciated in these hot weather.
The dishes are quite classic but work well and suited us well.
The setting is pleasant, for a day stroll in the park I highly recommend this charming refreshment bar.
Well done to the team.

01/09/2024: great spot to relax in the evening with friends over a drink, the cocktails are super good and fresh (recommendation: the Apple X is excellent), and the dishes are just as good, I recommend the chicken tenders, very crispy! special mention also to the super friendly waitress JADE, smiling and who always asks if everything is going well during the meal haha

16/06/2024: Excellent value. I chose the exotic salad with scallops. The mixture of flavors (melon, watermelon, raspberries, apples...), the hot and cold, the decoration: multicolored flowers were a treat for the eyes and the taste buds. I wasn't expecting that given the price. The desserts offered with the gourmet coffee were also varied and tasty.
