13/09/2026: The crepes and waffles are truly delicious. Especially when the owner makes them; I find her very generous with the homemade spread or jam. However, I've noticed that since the arrival of these young new employees, who often work weekends, I find they make the crepes very quickly, even the way they spread the batter. The spread isn't great either; they're not generous at all. I much prefer being served by the owner. It's nice, but a shame...

28/07/2026: I was very disappointed with this brasserie. The prices are far too high for the quality of service. You expect a good experience given the prices, but that wasn't the case at all. Furthermore, the welcome wasn't pleasant, and the staff gave the impression that the customers were bothering them. The atmosphere didn't make up for it. I don't recommend this establishment; there are much better options for the price.

30/07/2026: I'm a regular at Le Grand Café de Genève and it's always a pleasure. The welcome is warm, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is quick. The dishes are high-quality, well-prepared with fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere is convivial, whether for lunch or just a coffee. It's an address I wholeheartedly recommend in Lyon's 6th arrondissement. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism; I'll gladly return!

09/07/2026: My mother and I received a very warm welcome from the staff. Although we arrived a little late, they still offered us a good selection of dishes, which turned out to be delicious! I highly recommend this establishment for the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the excellent value for money.

10/09/2026: Passing through Lyon on Thursday, September 10th at 5:15 PM, I was served by someone who was as unpleasant as she was incompetent. I've never experienced anything like it, not even in a less well-known establishment. Her gaze was contemptuous. My order didn't match what I had requested: two cakes were missing. Luckily, she didn't charge me for them. There were several employees who seemed bored, judging by the lack of customers. The quality of Bernachon has declined significantly. The cakes and pastries are ordinary, and the pâté en croûte is tasteless. I won't be going back.

16/09/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Chez Raphaël. We started with the beef carpaccio, followed by the burgers and a bottle of red wine — everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The food was excellent, but what really made the evening was the atmosphere: relaxed, welcoming, and with a great ambiance. Everything felt just right, from the quality of the food to the service and the overall setting. A lovely place for a relaxed meal in Lyon. We would definitely come back!

28/04/2026: The reservation text message sets the tone 😳 Personally, I go to restaurants to relax, not to put pressure on myself as soon as the reservation is confirmed. So I preferred to cancel my reservation and not try this restaurant.

15/12/2025: Comptoir Cité enjoys an ideal location just steps from the Cité Internationale, making it convenient for lunch during a conference. The portions are decent, but the pulled pork in the Texas burger was a bit dry and harder to chew than one would expect from pulled pork. A practical choice, but with room for improvement in this regard.

24/10/2025: A very nice place, the staff are very welcoming and the dishes are generous. Try the Braille table in the evening.

22/05/2026: Honestly, an unacceptable experience! We had reserved an outdoor table for eight people, and even received confirmation from them on Instagram. Yet, upon arrival, we were calmly informed that the reservation wasn't valid because we hadn't "confirmed"... even though we had already received positive feedback from them. The result: no table, no organization, and above all, no solution offered. Not even an effort to try and accommodate us, even though we were a group of eight. We were simply shown the door without any consideration. Nonexistent service, disastrous management, and a serious lack of professionalism. Avoid at all costs!

The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and a special mention goes to the bartender Ticiano who is simply incredible: professional 🫶🏼, friendly, and genuinely attentive to his customers. I highly recommend this place, and I'll definitely be back!

19/09/2026: The service was a disaster. I was refused a table on the terrace in the middle of summer because I was wearing shorts… For a café in Lyon, that's incomprehensible! And when the owner, Olivier Farissier, replied, "Well, buy some clothes and come back and sit down," it was frankly contemptuous. An establishment can have its rules, but that doesn't excuse them from speaking properly to their customers. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality or business etiquette in this exchange. An unacceptable experience that makes me have absolutely no desire to return.
