The cuisine, executed with great precision, provided an impeccable experience from beginning to end. Special mention goes to the staff, who were smiling, passionate, and clearly proud to be part of this exceptional establishment. A huge thank you for this experience, which we will cherish for a long time.
31/01/2026: Another wonderful experience this Saturday at lunchtime at the restaurant. Everything was perfect: the food, the atmosphere of the dining room, the attentiveness and friendliness of the service. We will definitely be back!

27/02/2026: We came for dinner on a Thursday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the Savoyard fondue, while our son had a beef cheek bourguignon.
Thank you to the waiter for his kindness and helpful advice. We'll definitely be back!
08/02/2026: Traveling with friends between Paris and Milan, we decided to take a break off the highway, so we stumbled upon this restaurant.
We ate very well, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the place was welcoming.

The dishes are excellent, kudos to the chef!
Don't hesitate to stop by.
And there's an electric vehicle charging station right next door.

And this was it: a super delicious, atmospheric local brasserie.
14/11/2025: Lunch with colleagues.
For €15 for a starter, main course, and dessert, it was excellent.
And at that price, there's no competition in Tournus.
Well done.

14/03/2026: We stopped by for lunch. The hotel/restaurant is very nicely decorated and very clean. There's a large parking lot nearby and easy access.
The two waitresses were not very friendly, or even at all, and lacked discretion. No complaints about the young woman and the waiter. We ordered the ribeye steak rare, which it was, but the cast-iron serving dish continued to cook it. There was too much sauce in the steak tartare, which quickly became cloying.

Only downside: the elevator was out of order.

06/03/2026: The waitress was fantastic and the food delicious, what more could you ask for? I highly recommend it 😄
05/03/2026: The set menu offered good value for money. The à la carte menu featured excellent pike-perch, but a bit pricey at €24 per liter. The desserts were unremarkable, and the dining room was tiny with very small tables. In short, a bit disappointing for the price, except for the set menu, which is a no-brainer.

I tried this restaurant in the hotel and even though I was alone, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel manager was very friendly, the food was excellent and homemade! I'll be back.

04/02/2026: We spent one night at the Hôtel du Rempart and were completely satisfied. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast room is beautiful.
The restaurant is a great bonus.

11/09/2024: unpleasant boss criticizes her employees to avoid absolutely yet great cook and waitress but bad boss never go to work there and hygiene level we will come back terrace set up after lunch service not change for the evening table of the 3 rooms all set and not change also already a waitress and a party dishwasher because of the boss what to ask questions
05/09/2024: We're not going to choke on the quantities or the speed of the service...
We sense kind people, a waitress who gives her all, but how slow the service is. (Due to the kitchen?)
- "Beef Heart Tomato" starter. I end up with a tomato soup that doesn't fill four tablespoons. Who told me it's beef heart? Not to mention the presentation.
- Tartare dish. Well prepared, but the side dish, a sort of potato dumpling, was quite inadequate. More than half the dish was eaten without a side dish.
- Reheated or thawed bread. After 15 minutes in the basket and once cooled, it was hard.
Cooking is good, specifying the quantities is better.

25/07/2024: Very nice cottage. Valerie, the host, is very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable in the newly renovated and tastefully furnished apartment. The location on the Saone is also great, with direct connections to the Saone cycle path and the city of Tournus.
