29/03/2025: A very pleasant time at La Bûche, the cuisine is quality with varied flavors and quality products! The service is efficient and courteous with little touches for customers. I recommend this restaurant whether for a warm evening meal or a moment on the terrace under the Les Arcs sun PS: Special mention for the perfectly mastered simmered beef chuck

28/03/2025: The owner and her colleague are very kind! The service was very good. The classic dishes are a little more expensive than elsewhere, but the products are also better, so it's normal. The dessert menu is original and very good!

07/03/2026: Ideal location for a ski holiday: ski-in, ski-out. No need to walk with your skis to reach the slopes or return after a day on the slopes. A nice touch was the ski boot heating system! The service at reception was very efficient and friendly. As for the apartments, they were well-furnished, well-equipped, and comfortable. The swimming pool, sauna, and steam room were also very pleasant for relaxation.

03/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Roselend. The residence is lovely, and the pool and sauna are fantastic. The apartments are quite spacious and clean. The biggest plus is the service; all the staff are friendly and very kind, always ready to help, especially Océane... thank you again!

09/03/2026: If you loved La Cabane for its cozy atmosphere and delicious food, be warned that all that is now over. It's now La Fête à Neuneu, and a simple fondue (which is actually a particularly easy dish to make and perfect: three cheeses and a little white wine) has become something that resembles just about anything but fondue... In short, if you want to have a very drunken stag party or just belt out French hits from the 80s with the tables next to you without giving a damn about what you're eating, this is the place for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere (there are at least two very good ones nearby).

08/03/2026: We were a group of 8 and when it came time to pay we all paid our parts but the waitress made a mistake and asked us to pay an additional remaining 40€. When I realised, I went back to the restaurant to ask a refund on the extra money. The attitude of the owner was horribly condescendant, told me it was peak shift, she was busy, nothing was wrong on her side, started dancing at the till instead of helping, kept on grumbling, told me she could only check the next day with the bank etc.. things got resolved when the waitress came, actually counted the receipts, realised the mistake and respectfully corrected it. Very disappointed about the owner’s attitude

24/10/2025: A friend and I decided to spend a week in Les Chapieux exploring the valleys and discovering the local flora and fauna. It wasn't until the third night that we decided to dine at the Auberge de La Nova. As soon as we sat down, the La Nova burger caught our eye on the menu, and we didn't even have to speak before the owner immediately guessed what we wanted! He said, "You'll see, it's amazing." Well, he wasn't lying. From the first bite, my friend and I looked at each other and it was indeed amazing! It was so good that we decided to come back every night of the week, and that's exactly what we did! The burgers are incredible. We also tried a few desserts, including the Pavlova and the chocolate fondant, which were also truly to die for. The welcome was super warm: the waiters, the cooks, the owner, and his wife were all lovely and friendly. It was heartbreaking to have to leave on the last day... but one thing is certain: we'll be back! And this time, we'll go every night of our stay to enjoy La Nova's delicious burger :) Thank you so much 🙏 Les Petits Suisses 🐍

27/09/2025: Basic auberge in Les Chapieux. It is probably the main option on this part of the TMB with the next hut “Refuge des Mottets” a good distance away. Big campsite in front of the auberge - campers welcome to utilise the facilities in the hut so get your showers in early. Dorms were a little crammed and beds very squeaky. Dinner was good and really hearty - Chicken Velasquez, rice, and a delicious soup. Breakfast might as well have not been served it was so pathetic. Packed lunch was good though.

20/02/2026: We dined there three times during the week with my parents and two daughters. The service was excellent, the menu offered a wide variety of choices, perfect for the whole family, and the food was really good. A special shout-out to Tom and Lucas 😉 Looking forward to coming back next year!

11/02/2026: The restaurant offers truly delicious food with generous portions that justify the price. However, the service leaves much to be desired. When you ask to take your leftovers home, you receive unpleasant looks. Furthermore, without any explanation, a simple plastic container is placed on the table for the leftovers, as if it were up to you to fend for yourself, without any help or consideration from the staff. This somewhat spoils the experience despite the quality of the meal.

24/03/2026: The man was not very pleasant; he even suggested my wife had stolen a bar of chocolate. A sad shopkeeper.

19/03/2026: Takeaway sandwiches, soup, waffles, paninis—everything is delicious!! Go for it without hesitation! The products are local and the service is incredibly warm.

21/02/2026: Best burger I have ever had, no joke. Scotland needs to learn how to make a burger this good! Lovely small restaurant and super friendly staff. Only thing is it’s not that warm so wear a jumper!

12/03/2026: A truly unique experience. First, we were refused the menu; apparently, the effort of fetching it was too much for the waitress, Sophie. Then, there was an order error. We received a coffee and a hot chocolate instead of a tea. No problem, these things happen. However, there was a problem when the waitress sighed as we pointed it out. Finally, there was a billing error. I paid for a coffee and a hot chocolate, not a coffee and a tea. I only realized this after the bill arrived and didn't bother to ask for a refund of the few cents difference. Thanks a lot, Sophie.

10/03/2026: Simple but delicious food! Little to no wait and very pleasant service. Excellent value for money.

20/02/2026: It's not easy to find a truly high-quality restaurant in Arcs 1800. There are some decent ones, but the real mountain quality I'm looking for, with good, well-prepared ingredients, I found at La Marmite. No double seating here, excellent specialties, generous portions, and top quality. We tried several establishments to really appreciate the difference. Add to that a warm welcome, friendly service, beautiful decor, and fair prices, and you can't go wrong. I haven't found anything better in Arcs 1800 this week, and I should mention that I didn't try any restaurants on the slopes.

16/03/2026: For the past two years, we've gone to Altiport every lunchtime. Unfortunately, the owner has changed. The prices have become exorbitant: seven euros more per dish compared to last year, even though the quality isn't any better… They no longer accept restaurant vouchers and aren't particularly customer-oriented. So we've changed spots: Dreamspot! Admittedly lower down, but so much nicer… It's a shame, but there, we're treated like fools.

10/03/2026: Great spot and splendid view. Very friendly welcome and service with smiles from Théo, Roméo, and Robin. Generous Caesar salad and truffled burrata, blanket and génépi liqueur included. Thank you, guys.
