09/08/2026: The welcome was warm and pleasant. The table was ideal for seven people: everyone could see and talk to each other. Some were disappointed with their dishes, while others were delighted. The snails were too tough, the ravioli too dry, and the duck breast dry and difficult to cut. On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed the profiteroles with brie and the steak (the beef was excellent), and the poutine was also delicious. Unfortunately, the fries were inedible, soggy, and swimming in oil. The desserts were a hit with everyone! All excellent.
Given the restaurant's reputation and the prices, we expected better! A little disappointed overall…
05/08/2026: A warm and friendly welcome, attentive and quick service, a varied menu with reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'll definitely be back!

24/08/2026: The food was very good, but the service was very slow, and there was a mistake with the order. Regular customers are given priority for their meals.
17/06/2026: A cracking traditional French bistro in Coulommiers. The service was exceptional, and the restaurant is run by a friendly father-and-son duo who made us feel very welcome. The menu is small but focused, featuring French classics that are all made in-house. I had the steak tartare, which was absolutely delicious. We had a couple of lovely wines and the overall meal represented fantastic value for money. If you're in the area, I'd highly recommend stopping by

03/07/2026: True to its reputation for being incredibly stingy, this bakery with three outlets is getting absolutely crushed by the bakery next door (plus, the bread is overpriced and not good). Anyway... The incompetent waitress refused to accept our order and asked Sylvain (the owner of this shabby bakery, who looks at us with a cowboy smirk) to check that ordering a set menu for one person when there were two of us wasn't acceptable because, and I quote, "not profitable enough for the business." I've never heard of such a thing in my life—telling a customer to spend more in their shoddy establishment. Even though I'm 24, sometimes it's better to take a good look at yourself in the mirror at your advanced age of 40 or more, right? (Worse than running away).

17/08/2026: It's supposed to open at 6:30 am and at 6:50 am it's still closing, still in the middle of preparations.
21/06/2026: Avoid at all costs!! I bought two tarts that I ordered a week ago and what a huge disappointment for Father's Day!! €27 for two tarts, the pastry was soggy, the cream was dry, and the strawberries were wilted. It's a disgrace!!
I do not recommend it!!

Une mention pour les bières Briarde
31/08/2024: Excellent endroit, au frais malgré la chaleur aujourd’hui ! Le service est peut-être un peu lent mais la pavlova aux fruits rouges fait oublier l’attente !
Du frais dans l’assiette et du goût aux papilles !

28/05/2024: Hôte très accueillant et restaurant très agréable. Service impeccable et grand choix de plats. Niveau qualité/prix incroyable. J'y retournerai très rapidement
14/04/2024: L'endroit était plutôt chaleureux avec l'accueil enthousiaste du patron cependant lors de notre commande de crêpes sucré et d'une glace au "speculos" il y a eu quelques désagrément notamment au départ on prit une glasse speculos mais qui à l'arrivée de la commande était une glace caramel cela n'étant pas indiqué par le patron. Les deux autre crepes commandé sont arrivés en décalé l'une après l'autre mais avec beaucoup de retard et les crepes étaient sèche comme si elles étaient de la veille.
