02/11/2025: Excellent lunch this Sunday at Le P'tit Ballon, homemade cuisine, from appetizer to dessert everything was perfect. Excellent service. Perfect welcome. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended if you haven't been yet.

25/01/2026: The restaurant has unfortunately been closed since August 2nd, 2025. However, what I find particularly unacceptable is leaving online reservations open. It would have been wise to deactivate them immediately upon closure so that reservations could no longer be made! We arrived on Wednesday, October 8th, at lunchtime, with our reservation registered and, more importantly, CONFIRMED, only to find the doors locked, with this message displayed. Furthermore, we had an €80 gift certificate, which, moreover, cannot be refunded due to lack of funds.

08/07/2025: Incredible, the best hot chocolate of my life with whipped cream (Liège hot chocolate) truly incredible 😍 thank you. Just the music, you should turn it down, otherwise incredible, thank you again.

02/06/2025: A good restaurant, the setting is pleasant with a little discreet background music. The food is good and the service excellent. The prices are reasonable. You can also just stop for a coffee or pastry break during the day.

29/01/2026: Give it a try, it's worth the trip! We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance. The setting is lovely, right by the water (we can't wait to see what it's like in the summer!). As for the food, it was absolutely fantastic; you can tell everything is homemade from start to finish. The service is on par with the overall quality of the establishment; you can feel their genuine desire to do things right.

07/02/2026: Overpriced for the meal served. The Caesar salad was mediocre, containing frozen leaves and chicken nuggets. The morel mushroom tart had an average sauce that was far from homemade. The morel mushroom risotto was just so-so, nothing but morel dust. It's a shame for the owner, who I think must be suffering from the lack of professionalism of his employees.

29/03/2026: Today, a large majority of cooks no longer make their own fries, mayonnaise, whipped cream, etc. This greatly diminishes the quality of a good meal. That said, the fried food is good, as are the blueberry tart and crème brûlée. The waitress was friendly and smiling.

22/03/2026: During our visit, the "owner" was at the till. We ordered a second fried carp, which was noticeably undercooked. When it came time to pay the bill, the owner immediately asked for my payment method without even showing me the receipt. Imagine my surprise when I saw it: he charged me for 22 Picon beer instead of one, as well as an extra fried carp. I should point out that he was at the till, but he still blamed the waitresses. While I was waiting for my refund, the "owner" arrived without saying hello and asked me what I was waiting for. After I explained the situation, she simply turned her back on me without responding. This restaurant has certainly seen better days, but those days now seem to be behind it. Perhaps it's time to entrust the establishment to people who are committed to offering truly "homemade" cuisine.

01/04/2026: A very nice restaurant. The lunch menu was delicious. The local Alsatian wines by the glass were excellent. The service was friendly and competent. We will definitely come back.

11/03/2026: Disappointed by the behavior of a waitress who spoke rudely to her customers. The morel sauce appetizer was watery, with no cream and no flavor. The rest of the meal was mediocre. In short, we won't be back. Avoid it.

14/03/2026: Just as good as ever. Today I went by the prices on the menu displayed on Google, since the new prices hadn't been updated. Instead of €19, it was €23.50. I told him the prices weren't up to date, and he was incredibly professional and gave me the difference. He didn't have to. Thanks again! 👌

18/11/2025: I hadn't been back for two years, and when I returned just to buy two pizzas in the afternoon—knowing it's the only place in Belfort open in the middle of the afternoon where you can order pizzas—I was disgusted when I ate them at home! Too salty, no taste, undercooked crust, and my wife and I ended up with terrible diarrhea! Unfortunately, the owner is friendly and kind, but the food isn't up to par, and I wonder how this restaurant has managed to stay in business for 20 years! In any case, I definitely don't want to go back. Regards.
