30/07/2026: For the first time, we ate at this restaurant as a couple. The welcome was excellent, and the starters, main courses, and desserts were all top-notch, beautifully presented, and delicious – kudos to the chef! However, the major drawback was the swarm of flies around our table and chairs. They were everywhere, every three seconds, flying everywhere – blowflies and gnats. We had to shoo them away, holding our forks with one hand and using the other to chase them away. It was infernal! We pointed it out to the waitress twice, but unfortunately, she couldn't do anything. I should mention that we ate inside, not outside... We were extremely disappointed with this restaurant.

24/08/2026: We came yesterday for the first time. We will be back. We were very warmly welcomed, the meal was very good and plentiful, the owner came to greet us at the end of the meal, and there were also very pretty flowers. We loved everything.
11/08/2026: We regularly eat at Le Relais d'Alsace. The daily specials are excellent, generous, and well-prepared. From the à la carte menu, we enjoyed the generous salads and the tender, high-quality meat.
The terrace is very pleasant, shaded by trees and flowers.
The welcome and service are impeccable, and the chef regularly circulates among the tables to gather feedback.
We highly recommend this restaurant.

01/09/2026: A small, friendly restaurant, perfect for couples or families, and very affordable... A cozy little terrace nestled in greenery... Victoria in the kitchen, always discreet but timidly starting to interact with customers, and Margot serving, always smiling, welcoming, with a quick wit and infectious laugh... 🌞 We left with our bellies full of generous portions, always cooked with passion 🌺🌻 Go there... You'll be back soon... and try the fried food, it's just as good as Sungau 🤞 and that cordon bleu, can we even talk about it? A real treat 😍😍

11/08/2026: A very good dining experience: the food was delicious and the service particularly fast. However, we were very uncomfortable with the owner's attitude; she was far too pushy and overly familiar with our 16-month-old baby. A little more distance and restraint would have been appreciated.

02/09/2026: A lovely place, but unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the setting of this beautiful restaurant. The fries are frozen, the vegetables are reheated cans, and I suspect the ground beef patties are low-grade, supermarket-style (a second patty offered in a €4 burger gives you an idea of its cost). As for the veggie burger, it's a pre-made one that's been reheated. Absolutely nothing we ordered was homemade! We didn't order fish, but in my opinion, given the wide selection on the menu, it can only be frozen. The menu also offers many types of meat, but unless they're also frozen, it's impossible, in my opinion, to maintain a manageable stock of fresh produce. Absolutely nothing is local or organic; this establishment is clearly trying to make as much money as possible with minimal fresh and/or quality ingredients. While the price seems perfectly reasonable on paper, it's incredibly expensive for the quality of the food (canned, ready-made, and frozen). It's a real shame, as the restaurant itself is clean and the wait time for service is quite reasonable.

The service was frankly awful; politeness was completely nonexistent.
Luckily, the food was good, but the prices need to be reviewed.

11/07/2026: The staff are friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the relaxed old vibes. It’s a cozy place to hang out, enjoy a delicious coffee, and get some work done on your laptop.
There’s also the option to sit outside and soak up the nice weather, which makes it even better. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere and good coffee!

10/08/2026: The waiter (Paul, I think) was really very friendly and professional. He took care of quite a few tables on his own, always with a smile, even with some of the more difficult customers. Honestly, he remained calm, polite, and pleasant, which is quite rare and worth mentioning.
Despite the crowds that can be there in the summer, we didn't really have to wait, and he was quite quick to serve us. He really does his job well, and it's clear he cares about the customers.
I'll definitely be back, especially because the service was so good. If all the cafes in the area had waiters like Paul, it would be a whole different experience.

We were eager to discover this place and particularly appreciated its secluded and pleasant setting, which invites you to take your time and enjoy the moment. That's a real plus.
Unfortunately, we found the overall experience a little less convincing than we had hoped, especially considering the prices.
The service was adequate, but rather impersonal. When ordering, we also felt that we had to respond without much time to think, depending on who was taking the order, as if they didn't want to keep us waiting too long. Nothing truly unpleasant, but it detracts a bit from the relaxed atmosphere we appreciate in restaurants.
And then, a little surprise at dessert time: the crème brûlée was served hot, as if it had just come out of the oven. 😅 Let's just say we would have preferred a chilled crème brûlée, with its crunchy caramel… rather than a crème brûlée that had clearly decided to change categories and become a hot dessert. 😉
In the end, nothing catastrophic, but for this price range, we clearly expected better, especially in terms of the service, the overall experience, and certain details on the plate.
The setting is still very pleasant, but unfortunately, the experience as a whole didn't make us want to return anytime soon.

The homemade mojito... the preparation was lacking.
The €28 set menu... the soup was okay because the ingredients were combined in a particular way.
The duck was best forgotten. And the ice cream... not made with milk. Overall, it wasn't tasty, especially since the chef advertises seasonal and local produce. It looked nothing like the dishes in the photos.
