30/09/2026: We are regulars at this restaurant, and I hesitated to give it three stars. Perhaps it was nostalgia? The amuse-bouche, accompanied by Patricia's delicious anchovy dip, is still there, as are the other ingredients, the same ones I've had since I first came to this restaurant: nothing new. Tonight's starter: a perfectly cooked egg on a bed of ratatouille. Perfect as it was, did an egg really belong on a €58 menu? The main course: sea bass fillet, crushed potatoes, fennel marmalade, with a few drops of fish stock. We didn't find Chef Jérôme's usual excellent cooking, and the fish stock was sorely lacking. Finally, the cheese and Valrhona chocolate dessert were, as always, excellent. As for the "table d'hôte" atmosphere, where has it gone? The service, while certainly perfect, was shared between Chef Jérôme, Patricia, and a waitress, though pleasant, and was far from what we were used to.
23/09/2026: Another wonderful dinner at La Rastègue (our fourth visit!), which is clearly the standout restaurant in the Bormes/Le Lavandou area.
If you’re looking for the very essence of Provence, this is the place to go. The flavour simply oozes from Chef Jérôme’s beautiful dishes. We love how he uses the best seasonal, local ingredients: in late summer, we had aubergines, tomatoes, St. Pierre (John Dory) fish, olives, anchoïade…
The excellent wine selection and scenic hillside views are unforgettable - and what really ties the dining experience together is Patricia, who embodies French elegance as a truly welcoming hostess. It was a shame we missed le jeune homme parce que l’école était commencée!
Thank you so much for another lovely dinner - we would hugely recommend La Rastègue to anyone looking for an impeccable Provençal evening.

01/10/2026: Lovely little restaurant, the dishes are of superior quality. I loved the truffle mimosa egg, the John Dory, and the fig dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's simply a culinary discovery. Thank you to the waitress and the chef for this experience.

20/07/2026: Fantastic restaurant! My partner and I spent the evening there while visiting Bormes-les-Mimosas, and we loved it. The setting is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the waitresses are wonderful and attentive. I highly recommend it.

18/09/2026: An exquisite experience at this renovated rooftop restaurant. From the moment you arrive, the ambiance and the view captivate you. The service is impeccable, the food is divine and delicious, and there's a DJ who livens up dinner with great music as the sun sets. The aged beef was fantastic. It's one of those places you'll definitely want to return to. Many thanks to the entire team and the incredibly friendly service staff. Great music, great food, beautiful leagues. Fantastic. Highly recommended! 🙌🙌
14/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience last night.
We discovered this restaurant a year ago and were delighted with both the quality of the food and the service. We had such fond memories of it that we returned.
Unfortunately, this time the experience was very different. We chose the tasting menu and noticed a significant reduction in portion sizes compared to our first visit. Some portions were really tiny, especially the fish of the day, which we found particularly disappointing considering the price of the menu.
The service was also far from what we had experienced before. Some dishes were incorrectly listed on the menu, and to top it all off, there was a mistake when the bill arrived.
It's a real shame, because a year ago, we would have recommended this restaurant without hesitation. Today, unfortunately, we can no longer say the same. Given the price and level of service, there are now much better options available.

01/09/2024: mon adresse habituelle étant fermée ce jour ci,
voila une sympathique occasion de se poser déjeuner dans une autre rue, descendante et tranquille.
jolie terrasse sur la rue bien au calme, et à l'abri de la chaleur..
le carpaccio de poulpe était une belle découverte.
l'accueil sympathique et bienveillant.

A great alternative for escaping the chaos and heat of summer.
10/03/2026: I regularly camp at La Ferme des Janets and it's always a real pleasure to return. The place is simply magnificent: wide open spaces, breathtaking views, and remarkable natural surroundings that invite calm and relaxation. You can fully enjoy the birdsong and a truly soothing atmosphere.
The campsite is very pleasant, well-organized, and the facilities are practical and functional. One small detail that makes all the difference: real water taps for rinsing or showering, which is really appreciated when camping.
The place is friendly, perfect for getting together with friends or family, and the welcome is always warm and welcoming. You quickly feel at ease in this unspoiled natural setting.
A place I highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful spot close to nature, with an authentic and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
