30/04/2026: A very good experience at this restaurant, with a varied menu featuring Breton cuisine. For a weekday dinner, we didn't need to book in advance. The service was friendly and the prices reasonable; we will definitely return to this little slice of Breton paradise!

05/05/2026: Le Bistro Yonnais, a must-visit in La Roche-sur-Yon, offers a diverse menu featuring seasonal and local products. Something to satisfy every appetite. For my part, I ordered a burger with an amazing sauce (the photo speaks for itself), homemade chocolate mousse served by the spoonful, and two scoops of ice cream with salted caramel sauce. In short, you leave happy after a delicious lunch in a refined setting.

12/04/2026: I highly recommend it. We were greeted by friendly and smiling staff and had a pleasant experience. The dishes are cooked to perfection, the staff is very attentive to their customers, and the setting is lovely. The prices are in line with the quality of service offered. I highly recommend it.

18/04/2026: Disappointed compared to previous visits; The same decorations and herbs are consistently used on the plates, and above all, the pavlova isn't really a pavlova at all, but rather fruit, a scoop of ice cream, swirls of whipped cream, and bits of meringue—we do much better at home. Yes, meringue is a technical skill, but to do away with it in a pavlova... well, it's not a pavlova anymore. For a €40 menu, meh.

11/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and excellent service during our lunch at Le Pas Sage. The dishes were decent, except for the meat being overcooked. This small issue was resolved quickly, which we appreciated. We were delighted with this culinary discovery.

17/05/2026: We arrived on the evening of Assumption Sunday and were extremely disappointed. After ordering our burgers, we were told the meat needed to be cooked well-done due to quality issues and a stock shortage. We asked to change our order, but it was clearly too late. The burgers were very small, with no salad, no tomato inside, and no sauce for the fries. The fries were cold. The waiter had to come back after the sauces were forgotten. We asked for a carafe of water, which never arrived. We ordered dessert, and again, they were out of stock. Yet, when the bill arrived, there was no gesture of goodwill. 👀 As an added bonus, the waiter was arguing with a kitchen staff member…

16/05/2026: A very warm welcome at La Boucherie in La Roche-sur-Yon, friendly staff and excellent food! However, a thought for staff safety: going down to the cellar without lights to retrieve the bottles turns every service into a real challenge 😅🍷

16/04/2026: A truly excellent restaurant. Very unique with its little terracotta pots hanging from the ceiling. The welcome at the entrance was very friendly, the food was truly delicious, and the waiter was very kind and multi-talented, even taking photos graciously (just a little joke there 😉). A restaurant I highly recommend in La Roche-sur-Yon. And if the opportunity arises, I would gladly return.
