23/04/2026: As always, Karo is an excellent restaurant. A small touch for my birthday that I greatly appreciated. The meal was a delight; each bite was a discovery and a journey. Thank you to all the staff. See you soon!
18/04/2026: Disappointed compared to previous visits;
The same decorations and herbs are consistently used on the plates, and above all, the pavlova isn't really a pavlova at all, but rather fruit, a scoop of ice cream, swirls of whipped cream, and bits of meringue—we do much better at home. Yes, meringue is a technical skill, but to do away with it in a pavlova... well, it's not a pavlova anymore.
For a €40 menu, meh.

26/03/2026: Overall, I was disappointed. The food was nothing special, just basic fare, which we knew was expected, but the portions were really small. A 50cl pitcher of white wine diluted with water is a really poor practice.
19/03/2026: The terracotta pot concept is lovely. The welcome was perfect and the service was quick. I'd been meaning to go for a long time and wasn't disappointed. I didn't try the brioche specialty, maybe next time.

08/04/2026: Overpriced for the quantity and quality. When the plate arrives, everything is minimalist, including the fries, and not even a lettuce leaf to give it any substance. The French toast looks like it came straight from a supermarket package. This restaurant has become very mediocre.
04/04/2026: We just left the restaurant where there was a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. The meal was excellent: generous portions, served hot. The dessert was also well presented. The establishment was very clean. Keep up the good work and don't change a thing!
We'll definitely be back next time we're in La Roche-sur-Yon.

31/03/2026: Hello, we went to this restaurant on Monday and received a very warm welcome. The appetizer, cheese, and dessert buffet was very well stocked. And above all, it was absolutely delicious. You can go there without hesitation. The service was also excellent. However, you should remember to book in advance. 🤩

04/02/2026: We went for lunch with friends. The welcome was warm, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent value for money. My wife, who uses a wheelchair, had easy access to the restaurant. The seating was adapted for wheelchair users. The restrooms are accessible. The appetizer and dessert buffet is located in a room accessed by two small steps. The staff was very attentive and helpful.
We highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

14/12/2024: We had reservations for dinner after a show, as agreed with the establishment, notifying them of our arrival at the end of the evening. However, to our great surprise, when we called them to confirm our arrival, they informed us that the service was over because the cooks were stopping their activity.
This is a very disappointing experience: why accept a reservation if you cannot honor it? This clearly lacks professionalism and consideration for customers. We do not recommend this place for a serious organization.
