It's raining when we arrive but already the smells from the kitchen make us forget this unpleasant weather, we walk through the door with a heavy heart and yes we will no longer have this warm welcome, these early evening jokes from this Marjor of a man ( Eric) and this charming Karine, our faithful friend. A little ditty...it's just a goodbye 🎶, we feel the deep sadness of this entire team but very quickly their professionalism takes over. A little hello to the whole kitchen team in passing, of course! We are so happy and know the privilege offered to us to kiss the entrance to the artist who reigns over the stove and who directs an entire kitchen team with a creative and sensory rhythm.... Now we move on at table ..... work requires 👨‍🍳 The time has come for us to choose our menu and the most accompaniments, Water of course😂 La châteldon! It's been 25 years since we discovered the history of this water... each wine like each dish has its story and we have quite a story.... The dishes and wines pass, the talent and the pairings are always as sweet and surprising, we cannot get enough of this coming and going in front of us, the laughter of the neighboring tables, the amazed looks of everyone at this magnificent work. A quarter of a century that we have shared our friendship, today we are turning a culinary page, a story of passion, sharing, family. We wanted to thank you for this magnificent adventure, these unique moments of gastronomic pleasures, our friendship is stronger than your closure and thank you because we will continue to see each other and continue the story! 30/08/2024: A restaurant based on seafood in the heart of Rennes. The service lacks a little professionalism but this is perhaps linked to servers under contract for the summer? Very little wait which is both a positive but also a negative point because the aperitifs have barely started, the dishes arrive (but the wine is not served so you have to ask for it) The mussels and fries are good with taste and different flavor choices. As for desserts, a little disappointed by desserts that were a little heavy but still had good flavors! A bit high rating for this type of restaurant for my taste.

12/09/2024: Very nice address to quickly eat while having fun! Simple, quick and effective! The fries are a delight cooked in beef fat! And the burger was delicious! In addition, the servers are welcoming and smiling, which makes the moment even more pleasant! I highly recommend!

08/09/2024: We had only starter and desserts. But, both were absolutely delicious! The dessert was the best what i ever had in restaurant. Friendly owners. We definitely come back. Update 2024: We came back after year and it was catastrophic. First of all, staff were really rude(maybe cause we dont speak French? But it was not problem in previous visit). We waited for food for ages and it was not tasty at all. I dont think its only our opinion, cause table next to us didnt even finish their food. We waited for payment for hour. We cant recommed after this experience.

05/09/2024: Sympathique petit restaurant ou l’on est très bien accueilli. Vue sur la mer appréciée. L’endroit est à 20 mn de saint Malo intra muros bien au calme. La carte est variée et l’addition légère. Les produits sont frais et très bien travaillés.

20/09/2024: This is a beautiful place with a beautiful brasserie atmosphere, beautiful sea and sunset views depending on the place you have reserved! In terms of cuisine, beautiful menu and very good fresh products! I only gave 4 stars for the cuisine because the semi-cooked tuna was rather cooked than half-cooked. We recommend this place and will come back on our next visit...still lots of good things to discover!

18/09/2024: This beachfront restaurant, which enjoys good reviews and local recommendations, suffers from a gross understaffing and unprofessional management. Arriving at 7 p.m., the very first customers in the service, we waited 20 minutes without any attention being paid to our table. Meanwhile, orders were taken for many diners who arrived after us. The organization of the service really leaves something to be desired: faced with this indifference, we finally decided to leave this establishment, disappointed by the unprofessional attitude of the staff. Other reviews reporting similar difficulties should alert management, otherwise they will attract further negative criticism.
