16/08/2026: Great spot with a really cool view! However, be aware: they advertise closing time as 9:30 PM, but when we arrived at 9:10 PM, we were told they were closed. So we made the trip for nothing, which wasn't great. Please adjust your hours if you don't offer service until 9:30 PM.

15/08/2026: Fantastic view of the bay, delicious baked mussels, and of course, fresh oysters. Very pleasant seating, friendly staff.

25/07/2026: July 25, 2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always excellent! More than just a discovery! We started with a seafood platter to share, composed of fresh, local products from Maison Lucas, located right next door. And it makes all the difference! A beautiful large shrimp, melt-in-your-mouth smoked salmon, a delicately seasoned fresh salmon tartare, a fish spread served with toasted bread, a fresh salad combining tomatoes, citrus fruits, radishes, and a few touches of fresh cheese, all topped off with a crispy croquette and an excellent homemade sauce. A generous, colorful, and refreshing platter, ideal for sharing as an appetizer. The beef tartare is just as successful: generous, prepared to order, perfectly seasoned, and served with real homemade fries—thick, crispy on the outside, and meltingly tender on the inside. Flawless! Finally, the gourmet coffee lives up to its name. A crème brûlée with a delicately caramelized crust, a chocolate entremets, a raspberry macaron, a mini fresh fruit tartlet topped with whipped cream, a decadent cream puff, a thin crisp tuile, a lovely fresh strawberry, and a generously poured espresso. A delightful array of desserts that allows you to end the meal on a note that is both elegant and indulgent. Add to that warm service, a smiling team, and particularly meticulous presentation of the dishes. An address I recommend without hesitation. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, the care taken with each dish, and the desire to please. We will return with great pleasure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 09/04/2025 We're going back! And even at the last minute, they managed to find a solution for us! In short, delighted in every sense of the word. New appetizers were offered, and we loved the sea bream ceviche, as well as the octopus tartare! Freshness was key, the seasonings perfect! And the burger and its ingredients... you have to taste it to believe it, and here we did! In short, a lovely time at the counter! We had heard great things about this place! We even checked the information kiosk to find the restaurant, and then my in-laws made a reservation! What a treat! Fresh, beautifully presented products and generous portions! The mackerel rillettes were fantastic! Perfectly seasoned! And the little extra touch of toasted rye bread with a few crystals of salt and a drizzle of olive oil! Absolutely superb! The tataki was perfect! And the different fish dishes were cooked to perfection, sea bream and pollack with a beurre blanc sauce! The calamari 🐙 was perfect and perfectly seared. Not forgetting the tiramisu! The rhubarb one was brilliant 👍🏼 Kudos to the warm welcome and to the entire kitchen team! It was a wonderful experience, accompanied by a Menetou-Salon Blanc!

22/07/2026: Go to Le Boucanier and you'll be delighted! Where to begin... Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish, from the welcome and the service to the food and the atmosphere. In short, a true success. The cuisine is high-quality thanks to local products (fish, seafood, meat, and more) but also to a touch of Latin American influence (Peru never disappoints). In each dish, you can see the care and attention to detail. The dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful. It's a cuisine that knows how to satisfy every palate, whether you prefer fish, seafood, or meat. No one is left out. I chose the burrata, the beef (an excellent Peruvian recipe), and the pavlova. It was a delight, and I'm already thinking about my next visit. It's also worth noting that the food isn't the only positive aspect contributing to the success of this culinary experience. The view, the decor, and the ambiance are particularly appealing. A touch of exoticism without detracting too much from the seaside setting. Once again, flawless. And finally, how can we not mention the service... the Boucanier team is young, dynamic, and attentive. Professionalism is evident from beginning to end. If you're celebrating a birthday, this wonderful team will surprise you and show their warm welcome. I would like to thank Mariana for her attentiveness throughout my experience at the Boucanier. 30/07/2026: The products are very good, and the staff are all very friendly, but there's a lack of organization in the reception and order-taking process, and you have to do everything yourself.

04/08/2026: The seared tuna was excellent, with enough food to enjoy the rest of the meal. The terrace is very pleasant, with tables spaced far enough apart to avoid feeling crowded. The servers were very friendly.

09/08/2026: Disappointed by the owner's behavior We had lunch there 3 years ago and were satisfied, wanting to return We made a reservation for this Friday at 1 p.m. Coming from Lorient, there was an accident, so a delay was expected. We called and left a message on the answering machine. We arrived at 1:18 p.m. The owner greeted us with utter contempt, barely acknowledging our presence, and told us, "I'll take your order right away... if you come to the restaurant, Mr. Owner." Yes, I don't call that a restaurateur. Out of respect for real restaurant owners. We came to relax, and on top of that, we were on a beautiful beach, but no. 100 euros for two meals that ended at 2:30 pm. We were the last table. He tried to justify himself: "I can't answer the phone... yes, but we warned you..." And then a beachfront restaurant that finishes service at 2:30 pm? That's not bad. Dear sir, you take the money. People who travel to eat at your restaurant. At least know how to treat them, or do something else. There are jobs where you start at 9 am and finish at 5 pm. I have a lot of respect for people who work in the restaurant industry. But you are a bad example for everyone. Absolutely avoid this place.

15/08/2026: Bravo, true shopkeepers like we need everywhere. We came to buy langoustines for four, with cooking and salting advice, and they were a real treat. And what's more, without pressuring us, they showed us the next size up, so we bought four to enjoy these marvels—a delight! Yes, the langoustines aren't cheap, but you get a uniform product, not a mix of small and large ones. A more than adequate size, and frankly, for such a delicate delicacy, it's worth it. We also bought mussels, which were perfect, and periwinkles, cooked and perfectly seasoned. We weren't able to come back to the shop to thank you for your warm welcome and excellent customer service, so we're doing it this way. And of course, we'll be back on our next visit. Best of luck!

16/07/2026: What a disappointment 😞 Tasteless, waterlogged grey shrimp. I thought I was buying quality from a local fishmonger… Well, not at all.

21/08/2026: We stopped for lunch after a lovely walk at this beautiful spot overlooking the sea. Oysters, crab, and shrimp, accompanied by a delicious Quincy wine, were divine! To finish with something sweet, we indulged in the Faramel and the Kouign Amann, mmm! 😋🤩 The waitress was so friendly and smiling, a real pleasure! I'll definitely be back! 😃

19/08/2026: Magnificent spot, incredible oysters, and a friendly and efficient team. The menu offers a wide selection, and everything is fresh and well-prepared. For me, the best place to enjoy oysters in the area. I also recommend the oyster farm tour; it's fun and educational. Can't wait to return to the Gulf!

05/08/2026: From Carnac, we had arranged to meet friends for lunch and we departed from Locmariaquer by boat, arriving right in front of the restaurant. It was incredibly convenient and made for a memorable crossing. Virginie's welcome was very warm, and the view of the gulf from the restaurant is incredible and magnificent. The service was simply perfect, and the dishes were refined and delicious. Virginie gave excellent advice on choosing wine from a very extensive selection. In short, it's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy delicious dishes from appetizer to dessert. For my part, I opted for a selection of appetizers and a main course featuring lobster 😋😋😋. For dessert, I savored an exceptional Grand Marnier soufflé. In short, I recommend this restaurant 1000%!
