28/01/2026: A 40-minute wait for a cold burger with dry meat and equally cold fries (no paper napkin, either): After waiting 30 minutes, I asked the waitress if they had forgotten my order. She looked for my number on the drink cups, even though no drink was listed on the receipt I gave her. So I had to tell her that I hadn't ordered a drink. She replied that it would be "ready soon" without any apology for the delay. I waited another 10 minutes before she finally came to serve me… only to ask me again if I was missing a drink 🤦‍♀️ And to top it all off, dirty tables and overflowing trash cans! Never again McDonald's! Added January 28th in response to your feedback: Thank you for your reply. However, being "surprised" doesn't change the reality of our experience: a 40-minute wait, cold burgers and fries, and a rather unclean restaurant. Your response, lacking apologies or solutions and bordering on skepticism, accurately reflects the mentality we experience as customers during our visits: little listening and little consideration for the people who make a living from your restaurant. For these reasons, we will never return to McDonald's in Nîmes, and don't worry, your reputation is already sealed.

25/01/2026: A one-hour wait at the drive-thru is just unacceptable! Everything was cold and disgusting. They didn't even offer a coffee while I waited. Avoid at all costs!!

17/02/2026: We expected better. While the food was mostly good, the dining room was very noisy and the service was average.

14/02/2026: We came for lunch one day in February. From the moment we arrived until we paid, I have absolutely no complaints about the service. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. It's a place where you can eat well, very well prepared indeed, beautifully presented, all at a very reasonable price (€35 for a starter, main course, and dessert). I even think it's suitable for families. Finally, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Everyone is respectful of the noise level, but I'm deducting one star for the lack of background music. That doesn't detract from the fact that we had a very enjoyable time! I recommend it for a meal with friends or for special occasions.

11/11/2025: Opposite the Nîmes theater, you can enjoy a relaxed drink with friends without any fuss. It's particularly cool in the summer, and the terrace is open almost year-round. The owner is always very friendly.

01/11/2025: Drawn in by the menu featuring an omelet with chanterelles and black trumpet mushrooms, you discover an exceptional spot: a awning-covered patio, an island of tranquility in the heart of Nîmes. The service is outstanding, the sommelier offers excellent advice, and the cuisine is homemade using fresh, local ingredients, orchestrated by renowned chef Sébastien Granier, a Bocuse alumnus (photo visible at the entrance). The wine cellar is top-notch... a set menu at €25, the omelet at €19... it's top-notch without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

25/01/2026: The praline galette is excellent; I had it twice in January. My parents and I both said it was one of the best we'd ever eaten. Well done! 👏 You can tell it's high quality because even on the fourth day it was still just as good and hadn't dried out. I'll happily buy it every year! Don't change it.

04/01/2026: The meat had a strong odor of carrion; one bite was enough to make us nauseous. The waitress didn't find anything wrong with it; for her, everything was normal since only one of the two plates was affected. On the way out, we were presented with the full bill, with no attempt at compensation. €30 for slop with cardboard fries. Don't be fooled by the nice location. Avoid at all costs!

14/10/2025: Lovely restaurant located on a pedestrian-only street in Old Nimes. We had a fabulous alfresco dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful with wine and meal selections. The Seared Prawns were perfectly cooked and stacked atop mango and avocado. The multitude of flavors melded beautifully and to say it was delicious would be an understatement. The Salad with crispy goat cheese (a goat cheese egg roll!), smoked duck breast, gizzards, and assorted veggies had layers of flavor that harmonized beautifully. Again, delicious would be an understatement! My husband had the tataki and loved it. The chef here has a masterful command of flavors and supreme cooking skills. The duck and the prawns were not dry at all which I often find with these two proteins. The gizzards were so good I may travel back to Nimes just for another bite!

07/12/2025: What a shame. I had really good reviews about this establishment. I noted that the service was perfect, with professional waiters. However, the food was a different story. For my starter, I ordered oysters, which were served in a soup plate, leaving the liquid at the bottom... One plate with two slices of wholemeal bread, vinegar, and butter on another plate. No presentation whatsoever, but €14 a plate. Then, for the main course, the menu listed lamb sweetbreads, a dish I adore.... Big mistake!!! The dish arrived barely warm; it tasted like reheated food, with two ladles of mashed potatoes dumped on top and a tablespoon of leeks in sauce. €28. Still no presentation. My sister-in-law sent back her pollock fillet because it was also cold. My wife ordered a steak with fries, which were very good, but the steak we ordered was overcooked. It arrived on a large white plate with no sauce offered and no presentation whatsoever. Considering the price, the dishes are not up to standard; the chef seriously needs to rethink his approach.
