08/05/2026: Traditional cuisine, impeccable service, the atmosphere of Les Halles market – everything came together for a fantastic lunch. The owner shared her recipes with us, as everything is homemade with love. She offered us lamb kidneys as there were only a few left, a gesture rare enough to be truly appreciated. The Mazet aioli with a large cod fillet and its memorable aioli sauce was perfect. The tripe à la marseillaise was divine with its hint of orange. And what can I say about the desserts... A dark chocolate ganache with olive jam or the enormous chocolate fondant – it's hard to choose! ✨

11/07/2026: We were recommended by the Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre, and luckily so, as it allowed us to 1) learn a new expression from the Sarthe region... and 2) sample the cuisine of this small restaurant in the Nîmes market. It was fresh, generous, and above all, delicious. The chef even gave us a recipe. Go without hesitation!

24/06/2026: What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was! A very warm welcome, generous portions (salads were a meal in themselves), and impeccable service from start to finish. Special mention goes to the kindness of the staff who agreed to make a panini for my daughter even though it wasn't on the menu. This thoughtful gesture was much appreciated and prompted me to return the next day with a friend. In short, we will gladly be back.

The food was average (the pork ribs were undercooked and not caramelized, the zucchini tagliatelle was swimming in oil, but the strawberries were excellent and the homemade whipped cream very good). It was still far from the generous portions mentioned in some reviews!

06/04/2026: Very comfortable boutique hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. The room has all the needed comfort and the location is quiet at night. The hotel restaurant was good too. Breakfast was served and more than enough for a good start to the day. The location is perfect for access by foot to most interesting spots in town (of which there are many).

02/08/2026: We paid an extra €1.50 for Kentucky Curve fries… but in the end, we got plain fries, which shouldn't have cost extra. When we pointed out the mistake in our order, they told us it wasn't a mistake; they simply didn't have any more Kentucky Curve fries 🤦🏻‍♀️. No apologies, no gesture of goodwill… we certainly won't be back.

06/07/2026: A bad experience… We came for a birthday celebration and it was a terrible experience. We waited 25 minutes for drinks… Then the food was very disappointing: lasagna without meat or salad (you have to pay extra for a few leaves). It was a complete disappointment for everyone. The prices are still reasonable, though. We hadn't been there in a while, but the quality has definitely declined. We won't be back, which is a real shame.

06/07/2026: The rating is indeed poor for this restaurant. Honestly, I've rarely eaten so badly. I arrived at 8 pm and wasn't served until 9:20 pm. We were a large table (9), admittedly, but that's not normal. Only 2 or even 3 people working at the bar for a restaurant that must serve over 100 covers. This isn't the servers' fault, but the employer's, and it's unacceptable. Even if staff are absent, they should find replacements. Anyway... The wine wasn't good, my lasagna wasn't good. And I can assure you that out of 9 people, no one ate well: too salty, full of grease, and the ingredients weren't fresh. The only thing I wanted that evening was to leave as quickly as possible. Sorry, but I absolutely do not recommend it.

11/07/2026: Everything was excellent. I'm celiac and they were very accommodating; everyone was very friendly and the food was superb. The beef tartare was legendary.

10/07/2026: We stopped by chance... The daily special, even at an affordable price, was excellent, well-balanced, and, above all, beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef and the whole team! We highly recommend it! Les.Lillois
