The portions were very generous, and Hakim and his wife are lovely. They delivered and were very accommodating regarding the return of the pots. I recommend using their services without hesitation!

Since the change of ownership, the Swiss bar in Algiers is a mere shadow of its former self… gone is the legendary mint tea, gone are the charcuterie and cheese platters…
It's become just another bar; the unique features that made it special have vanished!

Smiles and good humor are part of their daily routine.
Regarding the food:
The daily special is cooked with passion and, most importantly, is truly delicious.
The price is very affordable, under €20, and you'll leave the restaurant completely satisfied.
I highly recommend this place.

22/02/2026: A wonderful discovery during a stroll in Uzès! This Italian restaurant offers high-quality ingredients in generous and delicious portions. The terrace is quiet and pleasant, perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend it.
10/02/2026: The dishes are varied and plentiful, but the pasta with scallops sold at €25.50 is a bit expensive for 4 scallops lost in the middle of rather bland tagliatelle!

19/10/2025: Despite booking by phone, we were not informed that only one platter of cold meats was available to choose from (and also oysters), a really average platter...for €12, it seems that this was due to the large crowds of the day compared to the medieval festival...

My charcuterie board is high-quality, with good produce.
The menu offers local products, specifying their origins.
The local beer (Agora) is a must-try.

14/12/2025: A warm welcome, smiling and attentive waiters. The Périgord salad was excellent, as was the gourmet coffee. I highly recommend it.
13/12/2025: Excellent service. The menu is limited, considering everything is strictly homemade. The only downside is the lack of two heaters for the outdoor terrace.
Worth a visit!

A great experience with a very friendly team.
The only downside, unrelated to the team, was the customer next to us who was incredibly rude and unjustifiably criticized everything that was being done. She even told us to give one star because she'd been cut in line in the restroom.
If I could, I'd give her six stars. Best of luck and continued success to this fantastic team.

07/02/2026: Did you really have to spend over 4 euros for decent bread and a friendly sales assistant? I see you don't respond to any reviews, as if your business relies on location and tourism. That's a real shame. I wouldn't recommend you.

27/07/2024: Des crêpes absolument délicieuses, c'est LA place pour en manger à Uzès. Plusieurs choix autant pour les salées que les sucrées, et toutes bien exécutées. Restaurant très bien situé, terrasse agréable. Le seul hic: les serveuses qui semblent complètement blasées. Un sourire demande peu d'efforts et agrémenterait définitivement l'expérience! Malgré tout, nous y retournions pour la cuisine, sans aucun doute.
24/07/2024: La serveuse accepte d’échanger une salade à 3€50 contre une boule de glace à 3€, ceci après avoir demandé à la cuisinière.
Seulement en entendant cette personne vraisemblablement rouspétant publiquement après cette demande, je me permets de dire à la serveuse qu’elle pouvait féliciter la Cheffe car les plats sont délicieux. Lorsque que la serveuse lui transmet mes gratifications, la Cheffe dit haut et fort « JE N’AI PAS BESOINS DE COMPLIMENTS »!
Le comble après cette humiliation, c’est qu’ils nous ont fait payer la boule de glace alors que l’échange à été accepté!
Quelle honte de la part d’un restaurateur qui se permet cela!
