03/05/2026: Happy hour featured cocktails that were mostly water-based (the Aperol Spritz was practically devoid of Aperol, and you couldn't even taste the Prosecco).
The seafood casserole, however, was very well prepared. Overall, not great.

04/05/2026: We stumbled upon this bar; the mixed charcuterie and cheese platters were excellent, and the prices were reasonable, unlike many places in Arcachon. The staff was very welcoming.
So we went back.
25/02/2026: We had lunch there last Saturday. The food was very good. The waitress was smiling and pleasant. However, the woman behind the counter was not at all friendly. A shame.

23/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal at Restaurant La Calypso, which has been passed down from mother to daughter for about forty years.
Very good value for money.
Just a minute from our hotel.
The manager was very welcoming. 😘
The atmosphere was pleasant, with standard jazz music for fans of that style.
We'll definitely be back!

24/05/2026: My 3-year-old needed to pee; it was over 30 degrees Celsius in Arcachon. The public toilets were far away and packed with people in the blazing sun. The woman looked at my son and retorted, "No! You have to buy something!" I went to my neighbor's place, who hadn't asked me anything, and I bought something since I'd already planned to, but given the harshness of the response... when the profitability of a café takes precedence over honor...
15/05/2026: The manager was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We also realized we were charged for a coffee we hadn't received. Thanks a lot. I definitely do not recommend it.

26/02/2026: Open from 9am to 5pm except Sundays at the moment, this lovely little classic kiosk offers a few dishes, drinks, and some desserts to eat in or take away. The croque monsieur and salad were very good and generous, as was the Charitea Red drink. Thank you!

Yesterday we went to this tourist trap restaurant.
The food was cold and tasteless, the oysters arrived hot but were dead, and the mussels smelled unbearable. It's true they're cheaper, but I've never seen anything like it. What a disgrace! Very disappointed.
25/05/2026: The mussels come from Denmark and are disgusting, and the fries are really not great either, which is a shame.

31/12/2025: A customer since 2010. Never disappointed. Impeccable fish. I only order sushi and sashimi, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
