17/08/2024: Accueil toujours très sympathique et réservation sans soucis malgré poussette avec bébé. Repas de qualité notamment le trio de saint jacques que je recommande. Peut-être un peu déçu par le vacherin 2 boules de glace avec chantilly et morceaux de meringue. Épaule d' agneau confite parfaite.

08/09/2024: Nous avons passé une super soirée au Zinc ! Je recommande. Très bons vins, cocktails recherchés, bons produits, un service très accueillant et une carte de Chartreuses comme on en voit rarement ! Le granité citron vert & Chartreuses une tuerie !!! On reviendra avec des amis c’est sûr, peut être pour le festival du mois d’Août 🥳

31/08/2024: Très mauvaise expérience dans ce Restuarant un samedi soir. Nous avons dû attendre 1H30 avant d’être servi à cause d’un oubli de transmission du bon de commande par notre serveur qui était complètement débordé, perdu en plus d’être totalement incompétent. Nous faisons part du fait que nous attendons depuis très longtemps pour être servi alors que d’autres clients arrivés après nous sont servis. Le serveur s’offusque de notre remarque et est à la limite de l’incorrection dans ses propos et comportement. Le responsable de salle vient nous voir pour s’excuser et nous informe que nos boissons seront offertes. Nous lui indiquons qu’aucun des trois serveurs qui sont passés à de multiples reprises a coté de notre table n’ont eu la présence d’esprit, pour ne pas dire l’intelligence, d’aller voir en cuisine si il y avait un problème avec notre commande. Les trois serveurs étaient complètement dans le jus et n’avaient aucune communication entre eux. Au moment de payer, le responsable indique de nouveau au serveur qui nous encaisse que les boissons sont offertes. Nous donnerons une deuxième chance à ce restaurant en espérant que le patron aura recruter des serveurs compétents et professionnels et que les cuisiniers sauront mieux faire cuire la viande (côte de veau trop cuite avec goût de brûlé).

18/08/2024: ⚠️ Takeaway only ⚠️ I was expecting to be able to eat there and it was a surprise when I arrived at the pizzeria. If you take a junior pizza and your child has a big appetite, it may not be enough, plan to take a larger size. As for the pizzas, they are good but nothing more. The dough is very flat. The ingredients are generous. The staff is very friendly

18/09/2024: I won't come back there again, really not good, the prices are not up to what we eat, it's way too expensive for frozen foods., But then very disgusting, the accompaniments offered we count on them on 1 hand, frankly you have to vary. The Bolognese pasta had water on the plate, in fact people are taken for idiots. You can eat frozen food but make a serious effort, you don't need to be a cook to make good frozen food, and rethink your prices, you're stealing people!!!! Avoid!!!!!! ANSWER: homemade 🤣!!! frozen fries, frozen squid you're making frozen squid be honest...and yes water but when it's 3 drops it's okay it was the plate filled with water, please stop. And as I said we can eat well even in frozen foods, you don't like my comment. Put your prices in line with what you serve, that's all. And when I speak I'm not addressing anyone in particular (cooks), no I'm just saying that you don't have to be a cook to make good food. Sorry for your peers who are obviously taking a hit, but instead of responding to negative reviews (numerous) reread the negative messages and put your strength into improving your restaurant....so we want to eat fast OK, but not at the point of paying for not very good food. A minimum! Thank you 🙂

10/09/2024: Quick summary: classic French bistro menu of entrees, main dish plate, salads, and a very good charcuterie board. Lots of cocktails, wines, etc. friendly, professional service. Reasonable prices. We stopped here on the recommendation of our hotel nearby. We were not disappointed. The entrees are in the teens euros, and include burrrata, various rillettes, oysters, cheese, and a great planche charcuterie (16 euros, enough that we took some back to the room for later.) Main dish salads are 17-19 euros, and include protein toppings. The mains (plats) are mostly 18-23 euros, and include grilled steak, tuna, roasted sea bass, various tartares, duck entier (27 euros), roast Camembert (18.5 euros), shrimp, etc. All mains come with appropriate sides. We were early, having just flown in overnight and jet-lagged. The kitchen was not quite open, but we ordered the charcuterie board, assuming we’d snack a bit and take some home. We split the salade Italiane, with veggies, cheeses, ham, on top (17 euros.) My husband had the grilled tuna Japonaise (18 euros); I had the poelee chipirons a la basquaise, a bouillabaisse-like preparation made with squid (18.50). All was fresh and tasty. There are some 3-course set menus, some 19..50 euros at lunch, and some 26.50 at lunch and dinner. Full bar of cocktails, wines, beer, including on tap. Reasonable prices all around. Friendly, helpful, professional staff who speak some English and are willing to look up a translation. There is a lot of public parking on nearby Rue Tourney, free after 6 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. This was a delightful introduction to Libourne. I wish we lived closer.
