07/09/2024: Disappointed disappointed disappointed... we have been to the Memphis de Mérignac several times so far no problem. The dishes are good. But today we arrive at the start of service at 12:05 p.m.... after 12:35 p.m., no one comes to take an order and we were placed on the right wing of the restaurant and all the other customers on the left so we felt completely at home. leaves...a waiter who has just started tells us that someone will come and take the order but that there is a shortage of staff. After 30 minutes without taking our order we decided to leave knowing that we have 2 young little girls and I suppose it was the manager telling us that he was arriving while he was taking the orders and tends the bar. I told him that it's not normal to serve people who arrived long after us and replied "well yes but I'm all alone". This is not an excuse, politeness requires at least taking orders in the order they arrive, moreover no commercial gesture was made to apologize for this waste of time and he replied to me .of "very good you can go".. I would never go back there again it's a shame because before it was good..what a disappointment...arrived at 12:05 p.m. and left at 12:40 p.m. without having eaten and in only service of lame excuses instead of admitting that he did not know how to handle his mistake.

I recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner during the week or at the weekend. Very good cuisine. Everything is fresh and beautiful Go for it without hesitation!

27/08/2024: Personnel froid et peu souriant tant au service qu’à l’encaissement. Notre fils avait pris un plat : Mac & Cheese… des pâtes avec du cheddar : écœurant ! La serveuse a ramassé l’assiette sans se soucier de pourquoi rien n’avait été mangé pour remonter l’information en cuisine. Sommes déçus, nous ne reviendrons pas.

21/08/2024: Disappointing stop on way home from Bordeaux airport. Busy, but I've no idea why, if the standard of my Mac n Cheese is anything to go by. The supposedly cheddar cheese sauce was dreadful, practically tasteless, congealing on the macaroni which was cooked but not seasoned. The Tarte Flombée ordered by my wife and daughter were poor, but just acceptable. Smiling, quick professional service.

26/07/2024: UNALLOWABLE, I am SCANDALIZED by my “meal” in this restaurant!! 1. ONLY ONE MENU including 4 choices per item (starter, main course, dessert) 2. I order a port as an aperitif, a tomato basil carpaccio as a starter and Spanish-style squid as a main course. 3. The waiter comes back to me a few minutes later to tell me that there is no more tomato carpaccio. I order the fried and mayo mix. 4. The waiter comes back to me again to tell me that there are no more squid. Boooo...I then order the Greek salad. 5. The fried mix is ​​served. 2 unfortunate fried onions and 2 fried squid on a few salad leaves and a small jar of homemade mayonnaise. The salad: NOT FRESH and DAMAGED, with INSECT NIBBING HOLES. 6. Greek salad is served. She looks good, plentiful. Mesclun, olives, tomatoes, feta. I eat the salad. I smell pebbles from the sand, THE SALAD HAS NOT BEEN WASHED. Plus I see perforated salad AGAIN! I take them off, without saying anything! But seriously....stir a little.... I see A LIVE POLICEMAN!!!!!!! IT'S A JOKE !!!!!!!!!!!! My friend goes to look for the waiter in the kitchen and apologizes, telling me that this is the 3rd time today that this has happened???!! Despite the careful washing of the salad???!!! But it's a joke!!! How dare they serve it to customers?!! I should call the hygiene department!! 7. The waiter offers me another dish, NO THANKS! I spent the meal watching my friend eat! I order a coffee, I tell myself at least no risk! 8. Arriving at the bill, I expect at least a commercial gesture, NOT EVEN!!!! It's simply shameful. If I could give a negative rating I would have done so.

28/09/2024: Good, but be careful when training new employees. To return from the airport to the hotel, the shuttle driver told me to call the front desk with a request to send the shuttle, and that it would arrive within 10 minutes. When I called, the receptionist told me there would be a 20 minute wait. Despite the rain, I preferred to return on foot, 15 minutes on foot. I was already waiting for me at the hotel. On return to the airport, the driver explains to me that some new employees are not familiar with how the shuttle works. Serious fault for a hotel called “Airport”. Also, the cups in my superior room did not support the hot coffee from the Nespresso machine. Hot coffee leaks on the furniture, but fortunately stains on my clothes avoided.

25/09/2024: Good morning, I stayed one night. Nothing to complain about the welcome, the comfort (although you can hear the planes), the restaurant. On the other hand, I paid for a late check-out and I was disturbed 3 times. The first cleaning lady came in at 12 p.m., I was in the bathroom. Then I was called to ask to vacate the room. Finally at 1 p.m. when I was returning to my room the cleaning lady was just entering. Unacceptable, what's the point of paying 30 euros if it means being so bothered?

19/07/2024: We called on Alexandre for our wedding (90 people). The guests gave us nothing but compliments. His team was professional, pleasant and accommodating given the number of interventions there were. Excellent caterer, excellent service. I recommend
