The heat might be affecting preservation, but in this case, there's a problem with the equipment.

19/06/2026: Always so friendly and welcoming. The food is very good, simple and home-style, fresh and high quality. The takeaway is the same. The terrace is very pleasant when it's hot and the interior is perfectly cool. The staff are helpful, professional, and lovely. Very reasonable prices. A pleasure every time, and we come regularly, summer and winter.

04/08/2026: UPDATE: There are many ways to prepare squid. That's why I asked these questions. I simply wanted to know how many squid rings were in a portion, as I couldn't find this information. I clearly explained that I was trying to choose a dish suitable for a child, so she would eat her fill and the portion would be sufficient. First, we weren't offered a children's menu. Then, you started mocking my question, saying, "Ha ha ha, we've never been asked a question like that about the number of squid." I found this reaction inappropriate and disgusting. Unfortunately, there was no children's menu. When we asked what the dishes consisted of and how the squid was prepared so we could choose a suitable dish for our child, the waiter replied that he didn't know and that no one had ever asked him that kind of question before…

17/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute taste sensation! If you're looking for the Champions League of flavors and the World Cup of tastes, look no further: this is the place to be! Everything was a pure delight from start to finish. Special mention goes to the incredibly tender beef, served with a simply divine garlic butter. And to top off this truly exceptional culinary experience, the homemade desserts provided the perfect ending to the meal. It's quite simple: this is an institution and an absolute must-visit when you're in Barcelonnette! We'll definitely be back.

20/07/2026: Had a delicious meal! Beautiful panoramic view from the terrace. The food was prepared quickly; we both chose a vegetarian dish which tasted incredibly good. More than ten different vegetables, prepared in different ways and truly a delight for the taste buds. Friendly owner, always ready to assist the guests.

30/08/2026: We came as a group of six (two adults and four children) and left delighted. Excellent food, superb setting. A lovely and attentive waitress. Affordable prices. The ribeye steak with foie gras sauce is delicious, as is the brioche French toast. The owner is a bit of a rustic character, but that's definitely a major plus. We'll gladly return.

30/08/2026: The food is good. The servers are pleasant. The owner is invested, perhaps a little too much. When it's full, you can feel the tension, which is a shame.

25/08/2026: The kebab was absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly flavorful, everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. The sauces they offered were also very good. In the end, I chose the spicy sauce and it was perfect 🌶️🔥 It was the ideal accompaniment to the kebab. I highly recommend it!

30/08/2026: Aside from the plastic chairs on the terrace, the exterior and interior are well-maintained; the service is excellent, the food is delicious, homemade, and plentiful; it feels authentic, unlike some Greek restaurants run by Albanians. The surprise comes at the bill, not because the bill for two comes to €160, but because of the payment method: you're seated at a small table opposite the owner, a grandmother of over 75, who writes out the bill by hand, adds it up in her head, and engages you in a long and pleasant chat. Very good and friendly.
