03/11/2024: Great experience in this Corsican restaurant which was recommended to us by the Residence des Pins. With my husband and our 2 children aged 19 and 17, we had the Corsican menu for €25. A real treat. And the quantities of Corsican-style wild boar we don't even talk about. With 2 big eaters, the dish couldn't even be finished. Each of us had a different starter in order to discover as many Corsican dishes as possible, the children had the chestnut cake for dessert and we had the Corsican cheese. Everything was a treat from start to finish. If you go to Calvi you absolutely must try this restaurant.

26/10/2024: Everything has been said in the previous comments but that does not prevent us from expressing our satisfaction after a very good meal. I was able to taste a semi-cooked tuna in quantity and quality. We will come back

26/09/2024: Really a great experience. My wife has celiac disease and therefore cannot eat gluten. We ate a tasty, delicious and gluten-free dish there for my wife. She was also able to enjoy a chocolate fondant. This restaurant has a very pleasant and welcoming terrace. Really a friendly place with excellent cuisine and real gluten-free options.

12/10/2024: Very tasty food, funny, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. 2 main courses, 1/2 bottle of red wine, 1 dessert. Expensive but Calvi is generally expensive.

To regularly eat sushi in Ajaccio, Porto Vecchio and Bastia, we were very pleasantly surprised by the prices without exaggeration, very honest, and the plate is not any smaller.... the staff, from telephone reception to service, are very kind, the house has been very attentive, attentive and commercial. 03/07/2025: I just spent 3 days in Magnolia Calvi. The location is perfect, near to everything very central and convenient. Unfortunately few event were really annoying; To start, one morning while we were still in bed, the housekeeper tried to enter the room without knocking. We shouted “no”, but she came in anyway—and then proceeded to speak to us standing at the door, while we were still lying in bed. It felt like a complete lack of privacy and respect. The next day, after the cleaning service came through, we returned to find our blanket thrown on the floor, and the towels hadn’t even been replaced. That was honestly quite shocking and unacceptable for any hotel. The reception is almost All the time empty, we tried to call few times, but no one ever answered. And also, if you have big luggage’s, no one will help you carry it, which in my opinion is the basic service any hotel should provide.

30/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The welcome was warm and the owners were very kind. Dogs are welcome.
