17/02/2026: If you want to eat somewhere in Calvi in ​​February, you'll have to look around. Most restaurants are closed, but not at La Poivrière. We seemed to be the only guests until a large group arrived and a DJ started blasting music. A strange experience, but not entirely unpleasant. The food was good, well-prepared, and the host, who didn't speak English, did his best. All in all, not a great experience, but I think that was due to the circumstances.

18/02/2026: A beautiful restaurant with friendly service. It's especially nice that this restaurant is one of the few in Calvi open in February. The food prices are fair, offering excellent value. A 33cl beer for €4.90 is something I can't get used to. Maybe it was because it wasn't particularly busy, but before we knew it, our food was on the table after just 15 minutes. The poulet morels was excellent, and the plat du jour was certainly interesting as well. Unfortunately, neither dish came with vegetables. All in all, we were satisfied after 50 minutes. Highly recommended!

08/01/2026: Not many tables, but lots of Corsicans, and the owner was in a good mood to welcome the two of us. 🙏🙏🙏 The food was very good and plentiful.

03/03/2026: One of the few restaurants open at the end of February. Glad to see that touristy doesn't mean tourist trap 😜 The view of the port and the mountains in the background is absolutely breathtaking! The service was rather slow, but we were on vacation, and I prefer that to pre-prepared meals that arrive in 3 minutes. Once served: We were in heaven! The spinach and ricotta tortellini was generous and perfectly cooked (I'm jealous that my partner chose it). The Savoyard hamburger was excellent, with a sturdy bakery bun and super tender and delicious paprika fries (not crispy at all, but it worked well). Even the coffee was good, which is so rare that I like to mention it ☕ The establishment is clean, including the restrooms. A very good place 👍

27/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Comptoir. Clearly, the best beef tartare in all of Calvi. Perfect meat, just the right seasoning, nothing to complain about. And then the dessert… the egg custard was in a league of its own, it was so good. Perfect texture, incredible taste, we're still remembering it. The welcome was fantastic, the service top-notch, professional and attentive. And a special mention to Arlette: in addition to her beauty, she has a genuine, natural, and warm personality. It makes all the difference. A sunny terrace, a pleasant atmosphere, and an exceptional view of the Port of Calvi. Sunshine, a magnificent setting, it doesn't get any better.

30/01/2026: We've eaten at L'Île de Beauté several times and each time it's been perfect! The food is delicious, plentiful, and the service is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant three days in a row, and I must say it was a delight every time. The dishes were excellent and generous. The service was perfect, with smiling, welcoming staff—very pleasant indeed. I recommend it a thousand times over.

07/01/2026: The Citadel of Calvi is well worth a visit. Overlooking the town and port, it offers magnificent views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Strolling within the ramparts and through the narrow streets feels like stepping back in time. During peak season, it's best to visit in the late afternoon to enjoy the light and avoid the intense heat. Take your time to admire the scenery and respect the tranquility of this still-inhabited place. A must-see in Calvi and Corsica, both for its history and the beauty of its natural setting.

28/10/2025: Found by chance. A real treat! The owner is very welcoming and offers great advice. The dishes are carefully prepared and generously portioned. The drinks are also worth a visit.

19/09/2025: With a magnificent view, we want to eat there every lunchtime... and that's what we did 😉. There's enough choice to please everyone, and it's very good. No photo of the mussels and fries, but they were excellent 😋 Fast service with very friendly waitresses and waiters. Special dedication to Morgane 😁(PE40🤿) We also took advantage of the deckchairs for two afternoons, at very reasonable prices. I recommend. We will return to this heavenly region 😎

10/09/2025: A real local restaurant with locals!! who come to share music, dancing and good humor. The dishes are very good, very friendly staff, a singer-cook who is a fan of Christophe and his Aline 😅 Finding yourself following the caterpillar in a small street in Calvi is a great atmosphere 😊😊

21/02/2026: Superb place with a warm atmosphere. The waiter and waitress were incredibly attentive, the service impeccable, and the food absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful time, I highly recommend it!

19/02/2026: We had delicious pizzas for lunch. They were incredibly tasty. It was really nice to be served a liter of cold water. We had a lovely meal on the terrace in February, in the sunshine. A godsend since almost all restaurants in Calvi are closed during this time. So, two days later, we went back to Le Nautic for dinner. They had the daily menu and pasta with tuna. Delicious and served hot. Thanks to the host, Guy. We absolutely recommend this restaurant! Oh yes, the interior looks very well-maintained.

03/03/2026: Fantastic experience at U Fornu restaurant in Calvi! Excellent restaurant! The flavors are sophisticated and perfectly balanced; you can taste the care put into each dish. The service is equally impeccable: professional and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you really feel at home. A truly wonderful place. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: Well, this is a rather negative review of the restaurant's performance this year... to put into perspective because two years ago it was one of the best culinary experiences we had, us and our caterer friends from the island who accompanied us. But this time, nothing was right: the dishes were completely botched (the charcuterie plate was pathetic, a fish dish with two small pieces of fish swimming in a tasteless sauce, hastily placed, a meat dish that cannot be described (I should have taken a photo of these dishes... which were not at all worth the price of a gourmet restaurant)), the service was "absent" (the two young people kept taking breaks, the customers were waiting for their dishes, and we waited almost an hour for them!). We were so disappointed that we cut our meal short, and it wasn't the walnut liqueur offered by the owner that boosted our self-esteem. A word of advice: pull yourself together. It was a far cry from our first visit to your place. You're worth more than that.

10/10/2025: Simple cuisine, unpretentious ambiance, overpriced. The escaloppe de veau milanese was dry, and the beignets were tasteless and not freshly made.
