Les meilleurs restaurantsde cuisine française en Calvi

10/08/2026: The owner has changed since our last visit. The specialties are no longer Corsican but rather Latin American. However, the food is still fresh and homemade (including the fries). The service was impeccable: responsive, quick, helpful, and very friendly. Note that the opening hours listed on Google are incorrect: the restaurant is indeed open in the evening.

04/08/2026: A truly fantastic place! You could easily miss it with its small storefront, but that would be a real shame! The dishes are generous and delicious, and the owners are incredibly welcoming with lots of stories to share. I highly recommend it.

28/09/2026: When you arrive in a city you're discovering for the first time for a holiday in Calvi, there's one exceptional place you absolutely must visit: La Poivrière! A particularly warm welcome and exceptionally friendly staff: you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. You're completely comfortable. A big thank you to Manu, Sabine, and our ever-smiling waiter. The restaurant also boasts an ideal, convenient, and pleasant location. As for the food, the chef delighted us with simply outstanding cuisine, generous and bursting with flavor. Don't hesitate to try the fisherman's platter with lobster and the capon (or scorpionfish) with its divine fresh vegetable tagliatelle, and the mussels from Diana's pond. Even the perfectly tender roasted chicken in its own juices is delicious, all at a reasonable price. The tiramisu is divine, and to finish in style, try a myrtle liqueur or a limoncello. A truly wonderful place that you'll want to return to without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team! Don't hesitate, go for it!!!

27/09/2026: Very unhelpful staff. We were served an entrecote that was obviously spoiled, had a nauseating smell, and tasted disgusting. The dish was rejected and sent back to the kitchen. Both the waitress and the chef tried to make us believe it was good, but they didn't bother to offer an alternative.

11/09/2026: Good food. Excellent sea view. Medium-high prices. Too bad they don't accept credit cards.

08/09/2026: Very good lobster roll. In a beautiful setting on Calvi beach. Only the only thing missing is service on the sun loungers.

23/09/2026: We had the crepes at lunch time. Very nice. Price of sun beds more reasonable than the other places.

19/09/2026: We were very well received, the food is excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it, a very nice place, the staff are very kind and the location with a view of the sea and the citadel of Calvi is simply magnificent.

14/09/2026: Great atmosphere, superb service, delicious food - perhaps the best thing after more than two weeks on this dreamlike island…

10/09/2026: We really enjoyed our stay here... a peaceful atmosphere... the wooden tables were lovely... Very good selection of dishes... including vegetarian options. The food could have used a bit more zest and flavor... garlic... herbs... But it was fine, you could add more seasoning. The service was excellent, attentive but not pushy... friendly.

27/09/2026: Inventive cuisine made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. A very pleasant location: a terrace overlooking the harbor. Attentive and efficient service. We highly recommend it.

25/09/2026: A friendly atmosphere, a simple yet delicious menu. If you're strolling along the port, you absolutely must stop by.

20/09/2026: This restaurant is very well located on the church square. The food is excellent, especially the generous Corsican menu with its charcuterie platter and wild boar stew. The lamb shank is delicious. The service is top-notch, with very friendly waiters. I'll definitely be back.

26/09/2026: The platter was a bit small for the price, and the atmosphere was noisy due to the location. Friendly service.

15/09/2026: A great place to eat local food. I recommend the house dish for two, it's amazing! In short, you can go there without hesitation. Plus, the service is full of humor, which is to be expected given the name of the place.

02/09/2026: Great place! Very friendly. Thanks again! The people of Nice

05/10/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic discovery at Nautic in Calvi! 🌊☀️ We ordered the mussels and honestly… the sauce is AMAZING! 🤤 A real treat, so good we wanted more! 18/05/2026: Fantastic position and wonderful service

27/04/2026: We stayed 3 nights at the villa; we were practically the only guests, a pleasant stay. No pool service (a shame). The meals at the restaurant were very good, even excellent. The staff were very good. But overall, not exceptional. Thank you.
