14/10/2023: Tried the local charcuterie plate to share and lamb shank. Food was nice enought, service a little slow. Good caruety of choices on the menu for the first eaters.

05/04/2024: Good restaurant in Calvi. The welcome is friendly. The service too, perhaps a little speedy. The dishes are plentiful and good, but not to die for either. Correct wines. Average price.

18/01/2024: Excellent restaurant. The service is friendly, the atmosphere warm around the wood fire. The charcuterie board was perfect and well stocked and the pork confit was divine. The boss offered us myrtle and chestnut for the digestive, which perfectly concluded this moment of good living.

02/04/2024: Poorly maintained, deserted these days, rooms closed. H 15 it is not possible to eat in the city. No one accepts credit cards... Not exactly a nice business card for one of the most important cities in Corsica.

08/12/2023: We were there in November when everything else was closed down. We popped in there because it was raining and we didn’t want to keep searching. We had a great dinner of fresh veal sausage and lentil. Very delicious!

07/11/2023: Nice setting on the port, very warm welcome and very good cuisine. There were 4 of us, we tried 4 dishes: the octopus and pork ribs were to die for. Never eaten such good octopus!

26/10/2023: Sainte-jeanne-marie-antoine-joseph-de-la-serra! First of the name.... it was divine, I don't have the words.. There are not enough stars to give for the rating, I would put them in spades... the waitress is very efficient, the waiter gives very good advice and the cooks are truly talented... you have to see it to believe it, eat there to dream.

30/12/2023: Very nice discovery! This 5-star hotel located in the heart of Calvi offers a truly splendid panorama!! The rooms are big! We had also been upgraded to a MAGNIFICENT suite with a sea view! Thanks again ! The hotel is very well located with an incredible view! The exterior of the hotel, like the interior, is very well maintained. The staff is welcoming and smiling and listens to us! I was able to benefit from the gym before the gym opened. We ate at the hotel's gourmet restaurant, we had a great time! A delight! Small downside... we wanted advice on a champagne, we were called by the sommelier except that instead of advising us he handed us the menu saying "the rosé champagnes are on the right"! Damage... Another small downside, we found the breakfast buffet very minimal... for savory lovers like us, we were disappointed... not much! 1 kind of cold meats, 1 kind of cheese, thank you goodbye. Eggs ? Extra ! Never seen... For sweets there is something between cakes, cookies, tarts... the choice is there! Too bad there is no middle ground... Regardless, we had a pleasant stay.

18/03/2024: Coming from Australia, it can be a little overwhelming in Corsica at times. Certainly was the first time I visited. But I can honestly say Tony and his team are superb (even if they make fun of my accent). Great drinks, food and genuine kindness. You might even run into Tao-by. This is were the locals go
