15/11/2025: Family owned very friendly restaurant right on the lake. You can see Switzerland across the lake. Fish is highly recommended. They have an area for children to play outside seating perfect for a sunny day.

07/03/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with refined cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive staff both in the dining room and kitchen. We were lucky enough to have a table near the kitchen and admire the team's excellent work. Thank you for a lovely evening. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Sciez.
14/02/2026: We booked online.
And upon arrival, they refused entry because we had a Pomeranian weighing 2 kg.
They claimed that dogs weren't allowed, despite our online prepayment, and that their room was too small. Appalling.
The service was appalling.
You all know.
Forget it if you love animals.

27/06/2025: Very disappointed with the coffee...Not cheap and the preservation left something to be desired, the beans were completely oxidized.
24/06/2025: The tiramisus, the Black Forest slices, the truffle... the multigrain baguettes, the Super Good chocolate bread... it's a shame we couldn't taste everything because the window display is very very beautiful and the products we ate were amazing. Thank you :-)

16/03/2026: A warm and inviting atmosphere in a restaurant with a lovely menu and original decor.
Good value for money.
Friendly and attentive servers. A truly wonderful place that I highly recommend.
15/03/2026: The staff were unfriendly and seemed to be bothering us.
We had lunch in the veranda, which was poorly insulated and where we were cold in the wind.
The food wasn't exceptional for the price; there was only one small bowl of vegetables for three people. We asked for more and were charged for it.

09/02/2026: The owner is lovely and the food is excellent; I recommend booking.
20/11/2025: I ordered (to go) chicken and shrimp spring rolls and chicken stir-fried noodles for over €30. The spring rolls were small and frankly had more puff pastry than filling, and the shrimp ones tasted more like samosas. The stir-fried noodles were steamed, without sauce, and the chicken had a rather unpleasant taste that made me doubt the freshness of the ingredients. It's a shame because the gentleman who served me was very nice and the restaurant seemed pleasant, but the price/quality ratio is not reasonable. I won't be going back 😕

25/01/2025: Un endroit magique. Dès l’entrée nous sommes plongés dans l’univers d’un chalet savoyard très cosy avec un accueil chaleureux. Du personnel au top et très à l’écoute et avec beaucoup d’humour. Les patrons sont adorables et nous mangeons merveilleusement bien. Un rapport qualité prix parfait. La note : 20/20. Nous reviendrons dès que nous passerons dans la région car franchement belle découverte.

20/01/2025: Quelle belle adresse. Un accueil chaleureux, décontracté et très professionnel. La cuisine du chef met en valeur les traditions savoyardes et les produits locaux de qualité. L'ambiance du restaurant est également à mentionner: on se sent immédiatement transporté dans un chaleureux chalet de Haute-Savoie. La décoration en bois, les éclairages doux et les petites touches artisanales créent une atmosphère cocooning parfaite pour déguster un bon repas en toute sérénité. En somme Le Denieu est une adresse incontournable pour quiconque cherche à savourer une cuisine de nos montagnes.
Bravo et merci nous reviendrons.

23/07/2024: Accueil sympathique mais service pas très professionnel , pour le service du vin qui gicle car elle verse rapidement tout le fond de la bouteille , on doit redemander le pain . Les orichiettes n étaient aps aussi raffinées , la pancetta avait bouilli, portion petite pour un plat . Les gérants du mois de juin qui semblaient passionnés ´ étaient pas là …. Un peu déçu

15/07/2024: Lieu très agréable au bord du lac. Les serveurs sont charmants et efficaces. Les plats sont faits maison avec des produits de qualité et copieux. Je me suis régalée avec les moules frites, préparées au beurre persillé elles n'étaient pas fades comme c'est souvent le cas. Nous étions 6, tous avec des plats différents et tous très satisfaits. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande
10/07/2024: Quel mignon petit restaurant face au port de Sciez!
Tout y est: service agréable (le serveur est juste comme il faut!), la cuisine est très bonne (recherchée tant gustativement que esthétiquement) et copieuse (les gros mangeurs seront contents!), les patronnes sont très agréables et la décoration est soignée!
Bref, je recommande les yeux fermés.
