06/09/2024: Really quality cuisine, with real research into the sauces. A super accessible chef (Claire) who loves her job, you can see (and feel) it on the plates!
Flawless, from aperitif to dessert.
Really homemade, which is increasingly rare, and high quality local products.
We tasted the gratin of ravioli with Queyras blue cheese, a treat and very hearty, the absolutely divine homemade Burger (with its candied onions, homemade bun, excellent meat cooked to perfection, with Queyras blue cheese), the duck breast with sauce with red fruits, and tiramisu. The plates are very generous.
Very good wines (and good food and wine pairing advice from our waitress), and the icing on the cake: an excellent génep.
A great discovery, the Guillestrin will undoubtedly see us again!

30/08/2024: Very warm welcome, fresh and quality dishes, special mention for the “pork with caramel”, a delight, the best I have eaten so far. The lady was alone for the service and despite all the people it went well.
28/08/2024: We have been coming to Guillestre for years and finally we are taking the time to dine here! Very good value for money, good service, friendly welcome! The dishes are very good and there are even something for vegetarians!

26/06/2025: No air conditioning in the rooms, a no-go in summer
22/06/2025: Good hotel in a strategic location for us in the French Alps.
With 58 Dutch biker friends we were very hospitably received here with good rooms, good breakfast and very friendly staff.
Also the shower was for me one of the best I have ever had anywhere.
We will gladly come back here again.

A great find for my husband and me; we had lunch there today.
I highly recommend this place! Bravo!
14/11/2025: The service and welcome were extremely unpleasant, the atmosphere tense and stressful, as the waitress or manager was odious and made no attempt to hide it.
I was treated very rudely when I asked if there was a vegetarian option. The first answer: no. Basically, it was either you eat meat or you go home, and you should have let them know in advance. Then, much to my dismay, I was given a dish without being told what it was. It was served last, as if to punish me, because, well, enough is enough.
In short, I strongly advise against going to this place. It's not the first time I've been there; I've often been disappointed, but this time it takes the cake.

10/04/2025: As part of a professional internship, I stayed at the hostel for 4 nights on a full board basis with picnic last week. In addition to a very accommodating team, the welcome is friendly, the meals tasty and the portions generous. The rooms are basic but completely comfortable. An honorable quality-price ratio. Everything was perfect! 🙃

15/07/2024: Thieves ! Be careful not to pay in cash!
the €20 note is divided by 2 to make change. Two beers for €9.60 end up with 40 cents in change. And the boss didn't want to know anything. He covered for his employee. He claimed he had a video to prove his good faith but did not want to show it. Weird no!
