03/05/2026: First of all, a huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Pujo for their warm welcome and professionalism. A superb hotel in a beautiful setting overlooking the Brèche de Roland – peaceful and serene. Secondly, congratulations to the Chef and his sous-chef; the cuisine was full of flavor and refined – a true delight for our taste buds. The breakfast was generous, and let's not forget the very pleasant waiter. We will gladly return; there is so much more to discover in this magnificent region of the Pyrenees. Le Campbieilh

26/04/2026: We had a lovely lunch at Le Campbieilh during our stay in the area.
•
As it’s still off season, the menu was reduced, but everything we had was fresh and enjoyable. I had a salad de chèvre chaud, and the salad with local trout was also very good. For dessert, the tarte aux myrtilles was a tasty, and the rum raisin ice cream made for a nice finish.

We also tried a glass of muscat and a local merasson, which added a nice regional touch to the meal.

We sat outside on the small roadside patio on a sunny day, which made for a pleasant and relaxed stop. The owners were kind and welcoming, and we appreciated the chance to exchange a few words with them.

A simple and enjoyable experience, and a nice place to stop if you are passing through Gèdre.

02/08/2024: Very reasonably priced and excellent pizza. I especially enjoyed the local mead on offer. I only wish there were more tables and chairs outside.
