24/02/2026: A wonderful family outing. The children's menu was generous, featuring pancakes, nuggets, and fries. The coloring activities were a big hit and helped keep the little ones entertained. Fresh ingredients, artisanal cider, and delicious desserts. A cozy dining room with a large fireplace and a warm, attentive welcome.
A truly excellent place.

A huge thank you! Passing through the area, we were desperately looking for a crêperie and we were certainly not disappointed by La Flambée.
Parking nearby and accessible to people with reduced mobility.

26/02/2026: On vacation in the area, we visited twice in one week... We came back because it was just too good! 😋 The selection is wide and original (they don't just serve wholemeal sandwiches!). The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive... in short, they take excellent care of you.
I'll definitely go back. Thank you so much to the whole team, keep up the great work!

16/01/2026: The restaurant offers several menus. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, well-prepared. Very reasonable prices. Plenty of choice. Very spacious and pleasant dining room. The only downside is that the seats are too deep. Parking is available next to the restaurant, near the main shopping street and the market. Well located. Very friendly staff. I recommend it.

The wood-fired grilled duck breast was excellent with its side dish.

The burger with andouille sausage and fries was excellent. One small drawback: the cooking smell lingered on your clothes when you left.

On our way to Brittany on Ascension Thursday, stuck in traffic, we stopped in Dol-de-Bretagne for lunch. After searching for an open restaurant with available seats, we stumbled upon the Bar du Centre. A warm welcome 👋, a simple menu, and reasonable prices 👍, with even a children's menu perfect for our 3-year-old daughter! We enjoyed delicious dishes (salmon bruschetta, croque-madame, and ham and fries 🍟), followed by delightful desserts 🍰. The service was quick ⏱️ and efficient despite the late hour (2 pm 🕑). A very pleasant surprise ❤️, we highly recommend it and will definitely return if the opportunity arises!
Update from 29/12/2025: We returned during August 2025 and the welcome was still excellent :)
23/10/2025: My experience was the following: we had a few beers and we realized that every table was given a plate of peanuts, and for us, being outsiders, nothing at all seemed like a rude detail.

08/10/2025: Simple, fresh, tasty, and affordable, this is a great place for a quick lunch. The bread, kneaded and baked on-site with delicious flour, is a delight. For dessert, don't miss the French toast-style brioche—it's to die for!
Unpretentious, yet with the professional touch of a good baker, you'll have a great time, even if the bill isn't too steep!

01/12/2024: Nous sommes malouin et très attachés à notre ville, nous acceptons volontiers de la partager avec le tourisme intensif mais nous regrettons d’y retrouver des enseignes comme celle de la brasserie chateaubriand qui n’a manifestement aucune éthique professionnelle et cumule les fautes de service allant jusqu’à prendre régulièrement des commandes qui ne seront malheureusement jamais honorées…
12/11/2024: Réservation de la table non respectez,le menu continental à déconseillé.
Aucune saveur . Je n’ai pas fini mon repas et je suis resté sur ma double faim.
Seule le petit déjeuner m’a remis en confiance sur les prestations culinaire.

15/06/2024: C’était vraiment délicieux ! Nous avons pris entré, plat et dessert, c’était vraiment un sans faute du début à la fin !
La cuisson du veau était exceptionnelle !
14/06/2024: Discordance entre la finesse des desserts (choyez votre pâtissier il est genial) et la lourdeur des plats. Les portions ne sont pas adaptées quand on prend un menu. C'est beaucoup trop grand et donc lourd sur l'estomac. En formule menu vous devez faire des portions plus petite. Ça gâche le repas. Quant à servir une bearnaise froide... On comprend pas. Une sauce se sert souvent chaude. Le champagne Feuillat (marque dispo chez Intermarché)... Comment dire... On attend une marque PAS disponible en grande distribution. Cet avis n'est pas flatteur j'avoue mais ayant excellement mangé la veille à Honfleur la chute est dure. Encore un grand bravo à votre pâtissier qui m'a servi une merveilleuse tarte au chocolat et fève de tonka qui était d'une grande finesse et d'une belle présentation. Au final j'ai l'impression que l'évéché vit du touriste qui ne reviendra de toute façon pas.
